This is very strong, black miso, good for adding to dishes for extra flavour. When using it for miso soup I prefer to mix it with a milder red miso paste.

I have been searching for this type of miso paste for a while. The jars from supermarkets are mostly tasteless and runny. This is just perfect! Gives flavour and taste to soya dishes. Love it!
