Air Compressor, Quiet Air Compressor, Only 68dB, 8 Gallon Durable Steel Air Tank, 2.8CFM @ 90PSI, Oil-Free, Ideal For Woodwork Nailing, Garage, Cars, Pneumatic Tools, 1.2 HP

This processor was fairly easy to set up, but the instructions were clearly written for someone already familiar with such a product, so it took me a few tries to get everything going. Once I did, however, the machine worked exceptionally well, just as described, and I am very happy with my purchase. Of particular note is how very quiet the unit is. Perfect for home use.

I’ve owned air compressors before that sounded like a jet engine having a seizure—so loud they made my teeth rattle and my dog file a noise complaint. But this beauty? Whisper quiet! I can actually hear myself think while it builds pressure. No more scaring the neighbors or wondering if I just lost partial hearing. It fills up fast, holds a solid 8 gallons of air-fueled greatness, and recovers quicker than I do after leg day. Whether I’m running air tools or just blasting dust off my workbench like some kind of DIY superhero, this thing delivers without making my workshop sound like a war zone. If you want power without the eardrum damage, this is the air compressor for you!

Great compressor, sound level is not annoyingly high. Good for small shop tools and filling tires

Great little compressor. Minor assembly out of the box was easy. As advertised it was quick to fill, has short recovery time. Quiet quiet quiet. Compared to others that I have owned and used

This size of air compressor gets the job done well! Never had one so good! Great quality for the great price.

Just as most things from Amazon, this compressor is Chinese junk. After a little work, it operates properly, There were leaks in a few of the connectors and some bolts were loose. Unfortunately, it still fails to hold air. A full tank with nothing connected drains down to zero in about fifteen minutes. I've checked all the fittings and there are no more leaks. So the leak is internal in a valve. The poor quality makes me question how long it will remain functional before throwing a rod or otherwise self destructing. For a hobby this is fine. For everyday use, just hope it explodes before Amazon's 30-day-guarantee is still valid. There's no way you'll ever find parts for this. It's quieter than many compressors, but not truly quiet, measuring at about 73 db. As for me, I'm probably sending this back to Amazon. I can spend a bit more and get some better quality. ------------ UPDATE: March 22, 2025. Purchased Feb 12. - Ten Days after the 30-day Warranty expired, this China Garbage stopped working. Valve problem. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Runs about the same duty cycle (percent time running) as my older Craftsman 3 gallon oiled compressor with the same constant rate air bleed. Significantly quieter. I can talk on the phone within 5’ of this compressor with zero problems. I’m not impressed with the coating on the tank or the wheels/axles that were supplied. Tank has rust on the support leg and the axles don’t hold the wheels all that well. Gauges have the red area overlapping what the pressure switch cycles the compressor off at. Still within the specifications in the manual, so that’s not a big deal, though it would be nice for the danger zone to be where the pressure is actually dangerous. Had to warranty the compressor because a bearing failed prematurely. Raised my rating because of how painless the warranty claim was.

The item arrived in a timely manor. Set-up was pretty simple. My only regret is the pull handle up front should be taller. One must bend down to pull/roll the unit across the floor.
