First and foremost, Never had dandruff issues in my early 20's but as I arrive to my daunting 30's I began to have dandruff and it sent me into a crisis. Not sure if it was my helmet from snowboarding in the winters and biking in the summer but my head was constantly in sweat mode and it may have trapped moisture in my hair and caused dandruff to build up. ANYWAY, I've tried two other brands and those caused my dandruff to spike heavily either because it was frying my hair follicles or not doing enough. I began to see ads for flakes and got annoyed enough to give it a one last try before accepting my fate. This brand WORKS. After a week of use I saw significant reversal in my dandruff and after 3 months of use it has completely gone away and I still use this brand to make sure it stays that way. Price seems steep for two smaller bottles but if you're like me with these issues, I would recommend it 100%. Spend the money and feel better about your hair ASAP. If i decide to stop to using this to see if it "cured" my dandruff issue I'll come back and edit this review and let people know who dig and read through reviews but for now I'll keep this up. Try it out folks.

After months of seeing pop up ads, being on the fence about this shampoo and dandruff, and at my wits end, I took the leap of faith. My 9yr old daughter suffers from scalp psoriasis; at first H&S worked, until it didn't. The same thing with Selsun Blue, but they never lasted too long. And, honestly, neither worked as quickly and effectively as Flakes! The first time we tried Flakes, my daughter had several sections of dried on flakes, red spots, and loose flakes. After the first use, (and a scalp massager) the loose, and crusted on flakes all came out with such ease of just using a regular brush. After the second time we used Flakes, I noticed there were ZERO flakes at all!!!! (dried on, or loose) And, the red patches, were very minimal. I'll also note, that she wasn't scratching or complaining of her head itching, or hurting. The third use, her scalp psoriasis was completely, gone! Tbh, I was so skeptical regarding Flakes, I didn't even take any before and after pictures. Also, I was just amazed and the noticeable difference Flakes was making, I didn't even need before and after pictures. I'll try to remember to update this review in a few months. Chances are, I'll probably forget?! Lol If you've spent hours going down the rabbit hole, you're at your wits end, you're needing drastic relief. Or, you want to prevent scalp psoriasis or dandruff from even taking over, just buy Flakes! Yes, it's costly, compared to the "competitor's," but it's so worth every single penny! My only regret is, I waited months to make the decision to finally purchase Flakes, and my poor 9yr old suffered in the meantime! Don't make the same mistake that I did. 1000/10 RECOMMEND Flakes!

I finally gave this a try after months of itchy and nothing working. My scalp was better within a few washes. Now I use it once a week to maintain a healthy scalp. Its a bit pricey but a little goes a long way. Strong minty odor. I like it but my husband does not.

Really works. It won’t be a permanent cure, but if used a couple of times a week, it gets rid of most of the itch in your head, and it got rid of some patches of very dry areas – – overall helped my head very much. I just wish they would take about five dollars off the price.

I was skeptical but had no choice.. the itching still persists but the size of the dandruff got smaller and the itching is slowly getting less severe. I’ve been using it for about three weeks now and it seems to be doing its job. I wish I’d bought the serum when I first start the subscription, but I think I can say that I am satisfied because I am not using the steroids but seeing the results. Great!!

Normally I don't buy stuff I see on IG, but I've been full of flakes for DECADES. Might be why I'm also losing my hair too. I've tried the salicylic acid shampoos and they work for a time, but not fully and leaves your scalp dry and if you stop using it even for a few days your flakes come right back up. Not trying to be cliche, but this is different. I think I really did have a fungus on my head cause even if you stop using it for a few days your flakes don't come back right away. My scalp hasn't been this flake free in YEARS. It's still only about 2 weeks, but so far I'm liking the results. I wish this stuff was around sooner.

I have used many medicated shampoos and while most seem to keep the flakes away, they only last for maybe a day and they stink. FLAKES is amazing!!! The shampoo and conditioner actually work and I feel like it’s been helping my scalp heal. They both smell good and are not overwhelming. It doesn’t take a lot of product to lather up nicely, so don’t be deterred by the seemingly small bottles. For anyone battling flakes of any kind whether it’s your scalp or your face, if you have a beard, I would recommend these products to everyone. Yes, the price is higher than most other products, but you want something that’s going to work that you can trust and you get what you pay for. You’re not wasting your money on FLAKES, I promise.

Product does exactly what it says it does. Period. For the first time in years, any sign of dandruff and dermatitis on my face is 100% gone. No flare ups or flakes. Discussed this with my dermatologist and he was impressed as he had prescribed me ketoconazole shampoo for years with only marginal success. I have been using Flakes for about 1.5 years now, and couldn't be happier. A literal life changer.
