I ordered the 2m cable in white and was not surprised when I received a 2m cable in white ! It didn't rock my world or change my life for the better but then again I wouldn't expect it to, what it did do was to allow me to move my powerline adapter off the 4 socket extension lead and plug it directly into the wall socket, which in turn improved my internet connection and reliability. I should have done this a long time ago, my internet connection has been steadily getting worse and was randomly disconnecting more frequently but I just couldn't see how moving the adapter to the wall socket would make any difference (even though everyone recommends it). After a bit of research I discovered the power supply in my computer could actually be one of the main causes of interference in the mains (who knew?) and as they were both plugged into the same extension lead I decided to try it and it worked (of course) ! Previously the best speed I was getting on Speedtest was about 18Mbps but that was very inconsistent (usually around 3 or 4Mbps) and could drop right down to zero until I restarted the connection which I had to do frequently ! Now I am getting a consistent 26Mbps which has only noticeably dipped a couple of times in the past few days but has recovered itself without needing to re-set the connection. The cable is soft and flexible and un-coils nicely, does not want to coil itself back up again and lays nice and flat. The gold plated shields are a little over the top and don't serve any practical purpose really and the 2 year warranty is very reassuring but also unnecessary. Far nicer than the generic yellow CAT5E cables I was using previously ! Definitely recommended if you haven't upgraded your ethernet cables for a while and are using the one that came with your router !

Sometimes even good Wi-Fi proves problematic, and in those situations there's no beating a solid cable connection directly from your PC to your hub. This cable is one of the better flat ones for such tasks, the metal reinforced sockets seem quite capable of taking a little rough handling, and the cable itself is more robust than some I've worked with - whilst still having a perfectly acceptable profile for mostly routing it under carpet edges, out of sight. Signal integrity has been spot on as well, with no drops or glitches in the connection provided. Would buy again if needed, highly recommended.

Had this for 3 years now its hella durable doesn't stain and gets the job done its a great cable and pretty long. Good connectivity as well and is very thin and stiff so it wont break unless you actually drive scissors through it.

I recently upgraded to Vodafone's Gigabit Fibre plan with speeds up to 950 Mbit download and upload. To take full advantage of these blazing fast speeds over my home network, I needed an Ethernet cable that could handle the high bandwidth. This Cat 7 cable has been fantastic - I'm now getting full gigabit speeds from my fibre modem to my computer and devices connected over Ethernet. The flat design makes installation easy, I was able to tuck it neatly against the baseboards in my office. The cable itself feels very durable with quality connectors. I didn't experience any speed issues or network drops, even when transferring large files or streaming 4K video. If you need a reliable Ethernet cable to handle gigabit fibre speeds, I highly recommend this one! Very impressed with the performance.
