how to get these for my cosmetology state board

Good and strong. Probably cheaper than the ones in the drugstore.

I used this to protect already-bleached hair while applying color. It wasn’t perfect — it didn’t always want to stick to the hair during application, which was a little annoying — but for the most part it did help prevent the dye from getting on the bleached sections, which was the goal. I chose cotton instead of rayon because cotton tends to absorb and hold product better, doesn’t get as slippery when wet, and usually makes less of a mess than rayon fibers when you’re working with hair color or bleach. Pros: • Helps protect bleached hair from color transfer • Cotton is more absorbent and less messy than rayon • Good length for multiple uses Cons: • Doesn’t always stick well to the hair • Takes a little patience during application Bottom line: Not perfect, but effective enough to keep dye off bleached sections—just expect to fuss with it a bit during use.

Great product. Meets the need.

I used this while perming my daughter’s hair, and it worked perfectly for keeping the solution away from her eyes, ears, and other sensitive areas. It’s very absorbent, easy to shape around the hairline, and there’s enough material for about two uses.

Folded over the packaging to show just how much (ie how little) 10 ft of cotton truly is. $4 doesn’t seem like much, but considering how little product you actually get, it’s absurdly expensive if you need this regularly. For reference, beauty supply stores typically sell 40ft cotton coil for ~$3.50. Definitely not worth the price on Amazon unless you’re in a pinch and only need a very small amount! I gave it 3 stars because the product itself is fine. Took 2 stars off for the value and the price though.

Happy with this “find “! Placed some cotton strip in a measuring cup. Poored in bleach. Placed strip along tile in tub where it gets mold and walked away. When I cam back it was all gone. Like another reviewer, I live in a subtropical climate (Florida) where mold is a challenge. No scrubbing, no work at all. No having to breath in chemicals. Good purchase.
