This case makes it very difficult to access the top drop-down menu of the player. There is a part of the case that crosses the top of the player's screen. It can take multiple tries to get the menu to drop down. I access this menu enough that it is very annoying. I would not buy this case again.

There's a real shortage of cases for the SR25 MK2, so I took a chance on this in light of the very good price and lack of an alternative. Firstly, the pictures don't do it justice. It looks far better in the flesh than any picture I can take. A nicer darker blue than even the company pictures show and certainly those i've taken. Secondly, I know that this is designed for the SR35 and i'm using it with the previous model, but the dimensions are very similar and I didn't expect the control buttons to line up with the button etches on the case, but surprisingly they do. In fact it looks and feels like it was made to measure for the SR25 MK2, so I couldn't be happier. There is also a stiffness to the PU leather that adds to the premium feel and helps with the fit and no doubt the protection. It also takes most of the sharpness off the player's edges, so feels nicer in the hand. One thing to mention though is that although this looks and feels like a quality premium item, the finish isn't perfect. There are some very minor marks that either indicate that this was either a return, or that the factory producing these is happy to pass cases with very minor imperfections. They really are very minor though, say 99% perfect and given the price of £38 compared to almost twice the amount for an A&K case, they're too insignificant to care about, but just wanted to mention this for any perfectionist reading this review. Ps the damage to the player was done before first using the case yesterday. I suspect the original A&K cases have better protection on top too, as I believe they cover the top corners.

Much like the blue case I reviewed this is just as good. Cases for the SR25 MKII are very hard to acquire these days and I have 2 players requiring them. These cases are a near perfect fit and the button markings on the case operate the controls on the SR25 MKII perfectly for me, even though they are slightly in different positions to the SR35, so functions as if. In truth though, I prefer the blue case.
