I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend. It was very pricey, but he's always cleaning his glasses so I thought to give him something that may be compact. This item was much bulkier than I had anticipated and the packaging it came in felt a little cheap. However, it is a good pocket item for him and he uses this all the time now. His favorite part is that there is a brush that conveniently comes out to dust away large particles. It really helps prevent scratching of his glasses when using a cloth or the buffing pads. I'm glad it comes in a variety of colors. I'd definitely purchase it again as a gift for someone.

I have Peeps all over the place – at home by my chair, in my tote bag, in my desk at work, etc. My glasses are constantly gettIng smudged because they sit on my cheeks and because my puppy likes to put his nose everywhere. These clean the lenses in no time. They even work if the puppy has chewed on them a bit. Sometimes they smear a bit, but if you keep working at it then smears will go away.

If you have fairly clean glasses, it works pretty good at keeping them clean during the day just a quick couple of swipes and you’re ready to go. If your glasses get oily, and you waited too long, you waited six hours before you clean them it does not do a great job And requires that you take out the cloth and wipe it down and clean it and every other day you need to use an alcohol glass cleaner to thoroughly get them clean. This is a great idea, but a poor execution. I will say this if I’m Allmann Road and I need a quick Swiper clean up my classes. This works great I’m not tearing open anything it’s got a little brush on the end I can brush off any debris, and quickly run a few swipes over it with the carbon cleaning attachments, and I’m good to go!

When I ordered my first set of glasses, this was recommended by the staff. This my second Peeps cleaner it has worked so well. The pads do wear out eventually, but I have discovered that the cleaning pads are replaceable for minimal waist. I now have a Peeps in my work bag and one in the house for use wherever I am. I appreciate the compact design that does work on both flatter and more curved lenses. With so many coatings on classes these days, I have less concern of damaging my glasses with chemical cleaners.

These work decently enough to use, but not GREAT...my glasses always still have a slight filmy coating on them after I use the cleaner. I like that it's small and portable, and reusable, but it doesn't leave my lenses super clear.

There are a lot of knockoffs for less, but this is the real thing. Just follow the instructions. Always brush first to get off any foreign objects. I've found to really clean your lens, you need to grip the frames securely and squeeze the pads very firmly. If you just give them a light brush, they don't clean that well. You have to squeeze. It does a very good job. Maybe not the best, but the alternative is to always carry liquid filled wipes and a dry towel. Convenience counts.

Ich kann nicht glauben, dass ich gerade >30€ für ein Brillenputz-Gadget ausgegeben habe, aber here we are. Mein erstes Peeps habe ich vor einigen Jahren für einen Bruchteil dieses Preises irgendwo als Aktionsprodukt in einer Drogerie gefunden, und seitdem war das Teil mein treuer Begleiter. Der Peeps braucht keinerlei Zubehör, kann nicht feucht oder dreckig werden wie ein Brillenputztuch, und reinigt ehrlich, wirklich, ernsthaft streifenfrei. Entsprechend entschlossen war ich, mir sofort ein Neues anzuschaffen, als bei dem Alten nach einigen Jahren regen Gebrauchs eines der Carbonplättchen abgefallen ist. Aber wie groß war mein Entsetzen, als ich auf der Carbon-Klean-Homepage gesehen habe, dass es dort anscheinend keinen europäischen Versand gibt, und ich auch sonst keine bessere Quelle finden konnte. Und zum Glück hat es sich gelohnt, den doch recht steilen Preis hier zu bezahlen: Das Gerätchen ist noch genauso gut, wie ich es in Erinnerung habe, und ich hoffe, es wird sich auch als genauso langlebig erweisen wie sein Vorgänger.

Brille abbürsten, dann mit der Pinzette reinigen, alles gut. Und die Gläser werden auch nicht mehr so schnell wieder dreckig wie mit handelsüblichen feuchten Brillenputztüchern. Ich erwarte einfach vorerst, dass sich die Anschaffung rechnen wird. Ich bin überzeugt. Voraussetzung für eine anständige Reinigung ist natürlich erstmal, dass - so steht es auch in der Anleitung - Haarspray, Make-Up oder ähnliches entfernt worden ist. Aber diese Dinge schiebt man ja auch mit einem Mikrofasertuch nur von rechts nach links. Update: Interessehalber hatte ich mir auch ein 4er-Pack billiger Versionen gekauft.
