Lamp post renewal
Work fine. Clear instructions. Build on this unit seems better than cheap ones I've seen at hardware stores. Only annoying thing was the wire lead length could have been a couple inches longer.

Vague instructions!
If my initial order would have gotten here I would have given this 5 stars. As of this review on 3/5/25 I’m still waiting on the first one to arrive order a month ago. I called Amazon about two weeks after the order and they were very helpful. Amazon sent me another one which arrived in two days! I installed it and it works perfectly. The instructions are somewhat vague and it took me a few minutes to figure the wiring out. The problem with the instructions are that it doesn’t state clearly which wire is the line and which is the load. The black wire is the line from the power supply and the red wire is the load going to the device you want to control. The white wire is always the neutral. I’m not an electrician but I did some research and figured it out. Otherwise it seems to be a good product so far.

This sensor was perfect replace for my lamp post, the old sensor lasted about 15 years but it was stuck at open position. 10 min replacement, my lamp works again. Great value too.

Not a good choice unless installed in an airtight enclosure or sealed by buyer
Installed in December of 2025, failed in April 2026. Post mortem found moisture inside of case. I was surprised that the case wasn't sealed. This was installed inside of lamp post which definately isn't a water tight enclosure but it wasn't wet inside either. Mounted 6 inches above the concrete pad the post is mounted on. A couple of cents worth of sealand on the case of this device would have solved this issue.
