EasyCare Easyboot Cloud Hoof Boot 4

I've tried several other types of boots on my foundered horse, but these by far are the best. They are much easier to put on than the others especially when you have a horse that doesn't want to stand on one front foot. You must, however, remember to fold down the back (fold it in half) before trying to put them on. also, these boots aren't nearly as "clunky" as other boots that I've tried and they stay on better than the others.

These boots with the inserts give visible relief. Just can’t praise them enough. I’m going to order another pair as a back-up. The only issue was getting the sizing right...my horse is 5 1/2 Wide X 6 1/4 Long...the size 4 fits well and stays on.

I purchased a pair of Cloud boots last spring when my Friesian Arab cross developed laminitis... They were amazing. They allowed him to be comfortable and recover successfully. He, unfortunately, is having another laminitic episode (we thought it was an abscess)... but yesterday the farrier pulled his shoes and put his boots back on and he actually was able to stand and walk so much easier. He is so much more comfortable in the boots. I can't say enough good things about them. Order extra sets of pads as I change them weekly as they tend to compress and the new ones are more supportive. They have been a life saver... I would give them 10 stars if that was an option :)

Bought these for my mare who had acute laminitis with coffin bone rotation- turns out she has cushings and ems. Was very very tender footed- these helped immensely. Would keep them on for several hours, then off - never saw any issues with rubbing the heels. Went on very easily - which was needed the first several days - she couldn’t lift up a hoof for very long. These were a lifesaver, glad to have a pair now.

I gave these boots an overall rating of 3 stars ONLY because they help tremendously with sore feet. They will have your horse walking better almost instantly. However, if you use them with any frequency, expect to replace them often. Unfortunately, they are the only boots I have found that my horse can wear. The fabric wears very quickly and also pulls away from the sole. My horse is on 24 hour turnout but the boots are rotated between two pairs with periods of several sound days when they are not worn at all. Said horse is quite lazy, so I would expect better wear. The velcro straps are a joke when it comes to holding the boots on. I have found that a couple of layers of duct tape around the closure works to keep it closed. They are very well padded and comfortable for him to wear, so I guess I will have to take the bad with the good.

This boot is perfect for keeping my horse's hoof high and dry while he can't wear a shoe due to white line. The height makes him walk at the same height as his shod feet. He is somewhat flat footed and cannot be without shoes. My farrier gave me the measurements for his hoof and the boot is a perfect fit. No more wondering if the tape job I did is falling off while I'm not there. This boot will save him while he gets thru this white line disease episode. Thanks EasyCare!!

The boots are great for shipping or sore feet for various reasons but I expected them to be sold as a set (2 boots). This was not the case.

It was difficult to find the right size. I measured according to instructions on their website, but when I ordered corresponding size, it was too small. The next size up was also too small. Had to return twice, but finally got it right the third time. My horse wears them a lot and they are holding up well and staying on. He seems comfortable in them.
