I'm glad I bought this Stripper!
Most know Klein Tools have a real good reputation and I'm glad I bought this Solar Wire Stripper. Easily strips 8 / 10 / 12 / and 14 Solar wire. Even with all the extra shielding, perfect strip every time and even comes with a wire stripper attachment to asure all your strips are the exact same length on the job. Get one and you'll save yourself a bunch of time when you're putting in a new system. Great value and easy to grip. Very comfortable and precise. 73 de KE8GKO!

worked for me
I was preparing to add nine panels to my array along with two new inverts, a lot of wiring. The last one I bought a piece of...wasn't acceptable. I decided to spend a little extra and get a known brand name. I'm glad I did, it worked fine for some 12awg, 10, and 8awg. A lot quicker than using my pocket knife, probably safer. I used it on solid, and straned, wire with no issues.

Fitment
10 AWG solar wire that I got stripped very well. 3 stars I gave for the same wire didn't fit on the slot for cutting

Cuts, No Nicks
I've gone through many different styles of wire strippers and methods. This style is, by far, the best. This, along with the 11063W, do it the proper way. Choose the correct gauge opening, determine how much you want to strip, and then squeeze the handle. The action makes a clean cut through the insulation while centralizing the actual conductor. Minimal if any nicks. Then there is a pulling action which strips the insulation off directly. This is how cable is meant to be stripped.

Amazing, precise, works like a charm ✨️ 👌 😍
Amazing precise tool 😍 It is worth every penny. It is a bit too expensive for me as I am a DIYer but oh boy it does the job so well 🤩 It also looks and feels so small and powerful. Thank you xxx

Works great, nice depth gauge but that could be metal
It works great for my 6 AWG ground wiring that I constantly make in the panel shop. The depth gauge is nice, but it’s plastic it’s not going to last.
