Unfortunately, there aren't many choices when it comes to table tennis catch nets. But it's bizarre that the net isn't better designed. There are two key flaws: first, and most important, the clamps aren't wide enough to fit any tournament-level table or, indeed, many other high quality tables. It would have been very easy to design clamps that were a bit wider, which would have done the trick, but these ones just don't fit. You'lln see that in other reviews as well. Second, the net doesn't reach the center of the table. Again, it would have been easy to design one that was a bit longer, but this one isn't. That said, you can make the net work if this is the only option -- you can bend the metal to make the clamp a bit wider (though you have to be careful not to break it when you bend it) and you can attach the net short of the mid-point of the table. But it is surprising that the manufacturer didn't make the clamps wider and didn't make the net longer, both of which would have been very easy to do. That said, I'm not sure that there's a good alternative out there.

Table clamps are not wide enough for Joola Tour 2500, Butterfly Octet 25, Butterfly Centerfold, and Butterfly Europa tables!! In other words, if the width of your table is 25mm or wider than buyer beware. You’ll have to remove the screw in adapter and add your own piece of rubber to protect the table.

This net setup needs to include an adapter for thick tables. I have a professional table with a thick top. The vise doesn’t fit to it. Great idea and net otherwise.

The clamp not fit my 25mm table, need to cut the piece of plastic that prevent the nut scratching to the table.
