Baby Food Jars, Chicken & Chicken Broth, Stage 1, 2.5oz, 10ct

I have a senior cat who gets fussy about food sometimes and baby food is a treat. She prefers the other brand of food, but she loves chicken, so I tried this one because it smells like chicken. It does not have any spices that are bad for her. Having this on hand is helpful when she is having a finicky day. Volume pricing at Amazon saves a bit of money.

I tried this for my senior dog as she has become very picky but she'll eat human food without issue. The ingredients are pure so I didn't have to worry about making her ill. The smell is horrible but other brands with meat baby food smell just as bad. I expected it to be thicker like another brand's version of this but it's not. This is pure liquid. You can thicken it up with a little cornstarch if needed. I mix it with a fruit/veggie puree and my dog eats it. This was a good price for what you get.

I don't know if this is Beech-Nut's fault or the seller, but these were terrible. The watery broth on top is LOADED with fat. More fat than meat, so much that it wouldn't solidify after mixing even after a night in the fridge. I've always bought Beech-Nut for my dog and they love it and are healthy. They wouldn't even eat this stuff. Since Beech-Nut seems to be discontinuing their meat jars, I figured I'd load up. I bought 2 cases of 10 and my neighbor did the same for her dog. Every single jar (40 total) was the same slop. We both threw them all in the trash. Don't buy these.

I bought this Beechnut chicken baby food because it only had broth with the chicken. I've actually bought it for my cat when he had diarrhea. He absolutely loved it, and wouldn't eat rice at all. I didn't have to worry about something added like onion or garlic, which is bad for pets. I plan to recommend it to my son and daughter-in-law who had a baby five months ago.

I started using the Beech-Nut Chicken & Chicken Broth baby food jars for my puppy, and they’ve worked wonderfully as a simple, mild food topper. I like that the ingredients list is very clean—just chicken and broth—without added salt, seasonings, or fillers. The smooth texture makes it super easy to mix into kibble or serve on its own when my puppy needs something gentler on the stomach. The jars are the perfect size, and the consistency is very easy for young dogs to eat. My puppy loves the flavor and always finishes the bowl when I add this. It’s also convenient to have on hand because it stores well and is easy to portion. While I still use regular puppy food for nutrition, this is a great supplement for taste and occasional gentle meals.

Good product which I order for one of my rescued cats that suffers from high anxiety. Challenging to get her to eat. Purchase this very often. Also, just to mention. On of the trays of 10 jars had two empties & the contents were very watery. Checked the expiration date & found it to be January 2027. Served the contents to 2 of my cats. Thankfully there was no ill affect...thankfully! I will continue to purchase this product because it is hopeful that it is providing good nutrition for the kitties.

I used to buy to feed cats that weren't eating their regular food. The consistency was thicker and had more meat. Vets suggest this brand because it has lower sodium. Not happy paying $1.00 per runny, not full jar. The cat loves what is there...flavor is good.
