Managed to get the "Platinum" version, which for whatever reason is the more comic accurate version color wise. I like the paint apps on the helmet, accessories or ok. All around a quality figure and nice value for the $$$ if you can find it for retail, especially if you score the plat.

This is a great figure from McFarlane. The figure has nice accessories, good articulation, and comes with the added bonus of a wired cape that has become standard for MCF figures lately. I wish the figure had additional hands, but the ones provided are great and hold the weapons well.

Great Figure for the adult collector. Articulates well so you can pose him in multiple positions. The cloth cape give it that extra star.

Who is the elusive and mysterious menace behind that rosy red hue?! Who is THE RED HOOD?! Gothamites can rest easy tonight knowing that the diabolical gangster of gags, calling himself the red hood, has been vanquished by none other than the up and coming shadowy vigilante known as the Bat Man! Dear reader, know this: that any wanna-be mobster will not succeed in the face of Gotham's protector and Dark Knight! This reporter spoke to several key witnesses including the deputy sheriff himself who told us that the cowardly gangster in his custom made suit and ridiculous red dome was in such a fearful fright, laughing in pure hysteria and fear, that he jumped from the railing of the catwalk at Ace Chemicals last night straight down over a 100 ft drop into the chemical waste overflow dam. It's unlikely he survived, though authorities did recover the torn and battered residue of that crimson cap, and it seems it had some pretty advanced equipment built into it! Next to that lay an almost pristine deck of cards, perhaps the Red Hood's lucky deck, though the Joker card itself was oddly missing. Well this reporter is sure the days of madness of the Red Hood gang is over and Gotham will rest easy for the indefinite future!

Just a good looking figure...and you gotta know it's the joker under the mask.

I kind of hoped this figure would have had a real head under the mask, that would have been cool. Still over all this is a great looking figure and I love the soft goods cape, I'm a sucker for those. I hate the plastic molded capes. With the wire in it (both sides and bottom) you can do a bevy of poses with the cape. This doesn't deserve to be a Collectors edition though, it is just a basic figure with accessories and a card stand. Big whoop. This being a "Collectors Edition" I would have loved an extra left hand instead of that open hand. He comes with THREE accessories, THREE!! Yet can only hold ONE. That is one of my biggest pet peeves with action figures, when they come with a wack of accessories but can only hold one. What where they thinking. Instead of that silly little cross bow they could have put in an extra left hand so he could hold the knife and pick. But here we have a figure with THREE weapons and can only hold ONE. My figure also has a little cut at the bottom of the coat on the front left side too. Not really noticeable but bothersome now that I know it is there.
