1996 discontinued toy, rare
This is a 1996 Kenner "Power of the Force" Millenium Falcon carry case for Star Wars action figures. It opens up to store the figures on little shelves, and will hold 18 figures. It came with one of two figures, either the exclusive Imperial Scanning Crew Figure with Scanning Trunk, or the Wedge Antilles fighter pilot with Blaster. The styling of Han Solo's ship is nice, about 22 inches long. You can put a figure in the cockpit. It is well made and durable. Two years later Kenner released the R2-D2 carryall, that included an exclusive Destroyer Droid figure and held 20 action figures. It is unique to the others as it also opened into an action playset with opening blast doors, air shaft doors, ramps and walkways and more for pretend play with the figures. Then in 2005 they released the Darth Vader carrier, that came with 2 exclusive figures, holds 30 figures. It did not have a playset. There are enough figures at my house to use all 3 carriers, they are all well made and fun, with nice styling. The price is higher than when they sold since these have been discontinued for so many years, you are paying collector prices for someone that saved them in the box for a rainy day, or a dealer.

Star Wars Millennium Falcon Carrying Case 1997
First available in 1997, the Star Wars Millennium Falcon Action Figure Collectors Case could carry eighteen (18) Action Figures including the exclusive Imperial Scanning Crew Trooper with Blaster Rifle and Scanning Trunk. The other version of this item is the same but came with a exclusive Wedge Antilles Action Figure with Blaster. The case has a carrying handle and does hinge open. This item is partially boxed to reduce the cost of packaging. The Falcon as it is fondly called by Han Solo is a spaceship which looks like a hunk of junk but it can hold its own as Han Solo proudly exclaims the record that it broke on the Kessel run. We first saw the Falcon on the planet Tatooine as it lifted off in a hurry to elude Darth Vader and his Imperial Stormtroopers. This is a great item for a collector or as a gift. I found this to be a very enjoyable item that I bought on Amazon for my little nephew.darthoz march 2006
