For a recent quick trip, I was told I needed to get a small backpack to take on the plane to avoid excessive baggage fees. Being an over-packer, I did not think this would exist. To my surprise, this backpack bag worked beyond my expectations. This backpack style suitcase holds so much with the main area and all of the separate front pockets also help with organization. The shoulder straps were well made and sturdy. Once we put on our shoulders, they looked just like a backpack which was an approved personal item while having a suitcase style and look. They wiped clean easily before packing away for our next trip. Priced very well for quality of product. Highly recommend.

So much easier than loading a carry on in the overhead bin. It held everything I needed, and fit perfectly under the seat of the airplane. It is soft, and flexible but nothing I put in it was damaged. I got it on prime day for an excellent deal. It was my best travel purchase this year! It’s well made with lots of storage. I am traveling on vacation and would like to take a backpack as my personal item on the plane, so I don't have to carry a purse. I checked out a few backpacks and found this one to best meet my needs for a good price. It has 2 deep zippered outside pockets which will be convenient for accessing phone, Kindle, wallet, etc. on the plane. It also has two very deep larger pockets; one designed for a computer and another which will allow me to pack it like a travel bag. One pocket has 2 zippered pockets on one side and on the other a deeper section with an expandable tie down with a clip to keep clothing from shifting around. The computer pocket is large and deep and would work well for anyone carrying electronics. I won't be taking a computer or tablet, but the pocket looks like it can hold a good amount of clothing and other items. There is a comfortable padded handle on top and one on the side to allow for different ways of carrying it. It's well-padded in the back and the straps look fine. I saw that this item is frequently returned. but for my needs I found it to be perfect and made pretty well. The zippers are great and the luggage strap on the back is large enough to easily fit over my carryon bag. I haven't used it yet but I'm sure it will be fine. I chose the black. To be honest, this is a pretty basic backpack that will allow the convenience of carrying personal items and extra clothing on the plane. While it works for my current needs, if you're looking for one that you plan to carry around while visiting places on vacation, I would recommend a better one with RFID protection and anti-theft features.

This is a great TSA approved personal item sized backpack. Lots of compartments and interior pockets. I would have liked more dual sided zippers. There is an interior waterproofed zippered compartment inside the largest section. The strap on the back is convenient for stacking on top of your carry on handle. This backpack is lightweight but with all the storage, it’s easy to load up!

This is a great backpack for traveling. I got this for my husband to use as a personal item when he travels by plane. It fits under the seats as long as you do not overpack it too much. No backpack should be bulging or you should plan on using it in the overhead compartment. I love the lighter color inside the backpack, it makes it easier to see things. It is light weight, comfortable and has several pockets to use for organization. It has comfortable padding and is a great value for the money. I got the black one. It has a strong handle on the side for carrying and the material seems durable and easy to clean. The zippers are sturdy. I purchased a different backpack for myself, unfortunately the zipper was broken upon arrival. It is heavier than this one, is dark brown inside and has several organizing pockets too. I actually prefer this one over the one I purchased and am returning. I highly recommend this backpack. I spent hours researching which one to buy, looking at measurements required by airlines, etc. I am glad I chose this one, no regrets.

I bought this for my trip with easyJet and I manage to fit so much clothes and two thick books in there. I was worried when I bought this that I wouldn't be able to take a lot of item compare to a normal racksake but really happy that I could. Decent price as well.

I took this on my trip to Florida and was able to get it into two ballparks. Material feels nice and it has a lot of pockets. I wish they offered it in a dark grey. The black attracted a lot of sun. Overall, really comfortable wear and no back pain. I threw it around quite a bit trying to get it out of people's way. I'd recommend it if you want to use it as your "personal" item. I wasn't allowed a carry-on so it had to fit under the seat and this was perfect.
