I was pleasantly surprised by how good these Amazon Grocery Vanilla Wafers are! They taste exactly like the well-known brand-name version but at about half the price. I recently made six large banana pudding trays for a family gathering and ordered twelve boxes of these wafers to use. Every single box arrived in perfect condition — not one crushed or broken wafer, which really impressed me. The flavor is rich, buttery, and perfectly sweet, just the way vanilla wafers should be. The texture is crisp but softens nicely when layered in pudding or desserts. They also hold up beautifully when dipped or used in baking. For the price and quality, these are an absolute win. If you’re a fan of banana pudding, pie crusts, or just enjoy a simple cookie with your coffee or tea, I highly recommend giving these a try. I’ll definitely keep buying them — they’ve become my go-to for both snacking and dessert making. Great taste, great value, and excellent packaging!

Pretty good taste and texture. They did seem to go stale a bit quicker than the name brand, but overall a good value.

I have pretty high vanilla wafer standards, so I was almost expecting to be disappointed by these vanilla wafers. Well, I wasn't. Although the vanilla flavor is artificial, I don't care because it still has great vanilla flavor. The texture of the cookies was exactly right. The sweetness was at the right level for me, but I have a fairly sweet tooth so it might not be as right for everyone. I am a fan of Maria cookies, which are very bland, so the simplicity of these cookies was not a drawback for me. And they weren't expensive. So if you like vanilla wafers, I recommend them.

Pretty good stuff here. I prefer them saturated in pudding mix. Tasted great for my banana shake vanilla wafer pie I made for the fam bam.

They are just ok. Better price than Nilla wafers but I don’t think I’d buy them again to eat as is. They have a cereal taste to them. Like that fake “cereal milk” flavoring. Not awful but slightly off putting and they def not something I could sit and eat half a box of without noticing like I can with other brands.

You CAN tell a difference, especially if you try them side by side. At first bite the Amazon one is crispier and I was pleased with that and thought it would hold up well in a pudding, but as you chew it, the flavor really just isn’t the same as the name brand. Almost has the slightest floral taste? She’s just not that girl. She’s fine. But I would save my money elsewhere. It may not be enough to notice inside a pudding, and the flavors of how you serve it may camouflage any discrepancies in the cookie, but as of rn I’m going back to the name brand. I bought two boxes of the Amazon version, so if I open the other and it tastes fine I’ll update my review but as of now it’s a pass from me.
