Lost Horizon Option3 Self-Inflating Foam Camping Mattress, Queen, 4.5"

This foam-filled air mattress completely changed our camping experience. It is extremely comfortable, well insulated, and surprisingly doesn’t sleep hot like some foam mattresses can. We woke up feeling like we had slept on a real bed rather than an air mattress. The biggest difference is the foam filling. It provides much better support and doesn’t have that “bouncy” feeling you get with a traditional inflatable mattress. The rechargeable pump is another huge plus. It inflates the mattress quickly and makes deflating it just as easy when it’s time to pack up. No struggling with a manual pump or trying to squeeze all the air out by hand. We use it in the back of our SUV, and it fits our setup perfectly. After sleeping on this, we will never go back to a traditional inflatable air mattress for camping. It’s comfortable, supportive, insulated, and incredibly convenient. If you’re looking for a comfortable car-camping mattress, I highly recommend this one. It’s worth every penny!

We bought these to supplement what are supposed to pass as a mattresses in our pop up camper. I wouldn't say they solve any problems (hubby and I both have injuries and some issues). But they are certainly comfortable and no complaints from us. WAY better than whatever the foam pad is that came with the pop up. ----> Although! We use these mattresses on top of those foam things. We deflate them and leave them in the pop up. They deflate flat enough that closing the camper is not an issue. I haven't attempted to deflate them and roll them up and stuff them in those storage bags. However, once they're deflated they do seem like they wouldn't be *terribly* difficult to manipulate. It might take two people tho. They're bulky but not exactly heavy when they're inflated or deflated (not counting the potential rolled up aspect). Plenty of cushion for our camping trips. Durable enough we could take them outside if we wanted to. They each came with their own air pump for inflating and deflating. However, when I opened the valve the mattresses just puffed right up. I didn't need the pump. And using the pump to deflate them takes just a few minutes. Remember to charge them up before you head out the door. Ours were fully charged at the end of our last camping trip and had no charge at all when we tried to use them on the recent one (about a 7 week window). Fortunately with our pop up, we just plugged them in with no further issue. I've only ever had air mattresses that are 1/10th percent better than a pool float. That's my comparison; I have never tried a different product similar to this one. So, I do think these were a bit pricey but worth it. Would I recommend them? Absolutely.

This product is absolutely worth the money. I have been sleeping on air mattresses each time we go camping, and this honestly changed the game. Obviously, nothing is better than your own bed, but this was comfortable. I got a queen size and my husband, 2y.o, and I fit in it. It was easy to store and easy to add air with the pump. It was quick. I have only used it once. Will be camping soon again, so let's see how it goes.

I initially wanted to purchase an Exped, but the price point was too high. This was at half the price plus you get a thicker mattress. My wife and I preferred using it with the least air and practically all foam, with both of us on the mattress the little air inside compressed enough to allow enough firmness for support and the foam gave enough cushion for a good night's sleep. It took 3 nights of camping to figure this out, but we know what we like on our next trip. It's easy to setup. Unpack and open the vent to allow it to self-inflate which takes less than 5 minutes, then adjust the air to your liking. High quality for sure!!!

This thing was a game changer for us while camping. We used an air mattress for quite a number of years and had decent luck with it. However, once it gave up I did research and realized lots of people were recommending this mattress for camping. After our first weekend camping with it I can say it is amazing. It truly feels like a mattress you would have in your home. Crazy comfortable. No air loss. Great protection from the ground. I can't speak to it's long-term ability, but my first impression is incredibly high and I'm even considering purchasing a second (smaller version) one for my solo adventures. Also, the rechargeable pump that came with it is also amazing. It's tiny and works really well. For both inflating and deflating.

It’s the best air mattress I’ve purchased. Hands down worth the money. It was so comfortable for sleeping on the ground in a tent. It self inflates as well. That was the best part. I feel it worked better if you weren’t sleeping alone. I say this because when I just laid on it alone. I felt the ground on my hip. But when my partner laid with me, it was much better. It kind of evened it out.

Why I ordered this item: My old air mattress sprung a leak on a trip and I ended up on the ground for two nights. I wanted something with foam in it so a puncture doesn't mean sleeping on dirt. Likes: * This thing is thick. I sank in a little and it held my weight fine without bottoming out on the ground underneath. * The valve setup is super fun to mess with. You can crack it open partway and let some air out to make the pad softer, or leave it closed for a firmer sleep. My wife likes hers softer than mine so this worked out for both of us on the same mattress. * It's dead quiet under you. I rolled around a bunch testing it out and didn't wake anybody up. * Inflation is basically just opening the valve and walking away for a while. The pump is a nice little bonus for deflating it since jamming all that foam back in the bag by hand would be a nightmare. * Packed size is jacked up big for what people probably think of as camping gear. This lives in the car, not the pack. No likes: * It's heavy. I wouldn't want to carry this more than a few hundred feet from the car. * Full inflation from just the valve took longer then I wanted. I ended up using the pump most of the time instead of waiting it out. Would I pay full price for this product: Yes Final thoughts: This is a car camping mattress, not a backpacking pad, and it nails that specific job. If you're hauling gear on your back this isn't it, but for tent camping where the car is nearby it's a comfortable setup.

Very impressive self-inflation and very comfortable. Unfortunately I needed to refill the mattress multiple times per night because it kept deflating and I'd wake up touching the ground. I verified that the rotatable air intake/outtake mechanisms were placed securely in the intake position and that the cap was fastened tightly after each inflation, but it kept deflating anyway. Very disappointing because it was comfortable when it had air in it.
