Lighting and airflow and size
The lighting feature has been a tremendous help as it is brighter than I expected. Also, the airflow is strong enough that I saves me time and effort. The size is so impressive, it is unbelievable how easy this powerful tool can pack away.

Weight and battery tested.
I figured I'd include some test results here as it's hard to find info about these. I also own a Flextail Pro Max pump with a 3600mah battery (5.7oz.) When we first started backpacking, I really didn't think 5 oz mattered, but it definitely does. All those extra oz add up to pounds and those pounds make a huge difference over 50 miles. Pros: Compared to the Pro, the X model is about half the size and a quarter of the weight. The battery is rated at 800mah in the X, so less than 1/4 of the capacity. The pump able to fill a 3" Nemo Tensor Trail pad in roughly 1m 30s. Cons: The stated weight is not correct. Not way off, but I checked it with two scales. The unit I received weighs 1.700 oz (see image), so .1 oz more than stated. The images claim that this unit can fill a standard pad 30x on a charge (yeah right). I tested filling two Nemo Tensor trail long wide (25x78) in pairs and allowing the unit to cool down for a few minutes between fills. At the start of the 10th fill, the red light on the unit started blinking which I can only assume means low battery, however this is not mentioned in the manual at all. It continued to fill the 10th pad fully and has been running on the table with the light on for about an hour. The Pump also does not come with useful nozzles. While the nozzles are incompatible with the nozzle from my pro max due to a different connector, it is the same set of attachment ends that come with the other Flextail pumps. They DO NOT fit Big Agnes OR Nemo pads. I can't speak for any other brands. You can make them work by holding them in place, but it is a huge pain at the end of a long day of hiking to kneel over a pad leaning in the tent door and try to hold a pump on the mattress inlet. If you've already done it, then you know what I mean haha. I have created 3D printed nozzles for Big Agnes and Nemo pads that snap in place for the Max pro pump and will modify those models for this 2024 X model and make them available on Thingiverse. I shouldn't have to do this, but Flextail just doesn't seem to want to provide useful nozzles. So with all the cons, why is this a 5 star review? Well if it were any other item, I'd probably give it 3 or 4 stars because I hate all these inaccurate claims. It's a 5 star for me because it is the lightest model on the market (even lighter than their tiny pump+battery). It was able to inflate 2 LW pads 5 times each and still have enough battery left to use it as a tent light for a couple hours which is exactly what I was hoping for. For longer trips I can recharge the pump from a power bank. While the manufacturer claims are inaccurate, I would say this is the best product on the market for my use case. 3.9 more oz off my base weight and we have a few more cuts and replacements to make this year. I'm quite happy with it as long as it lasts.

Not as great as it is hyped up to be
I wanted so bad to love this Flextail because it is hyped up so much in YT outdoor videos. Maybe the upgraded newer models are easier to use. I know that it can't be a 'one size fits all' but the attachments didn't make the function easy. Once I finagled my hands and fingers to hold the attachments (2 were needed) to the air pad, The speed of the air flow was decent. The plus points are that this is small, lightweight and very portable. I will be upgrading to something else.

Much better that I thought
This impressed me. Tiny and really did much more than I expected. I bought vacuum bags for comforters And didn't think this tiny thing could do it. But it did It is so small.. omg. Easy to take on a trip and vacuum bag my clothes. Very happy, now let's see if it lasts.

Great little pump!
Works well for inflating my backpack air mattress. Very small and lightweight. I wish I had one of these 15 years ago.

Great accessory for camping. Smaller than I thought it would be which makes the power available for inflating all the more impressive. Will likely buy another one. Good price

Has all the power I need to fill my thermorest x at least 3 times with plenty of juice left over. Far superior to fill sacks. Not even comparable, and fits well in any pack, it's so small.

could pump a queen size airbed!

I got about 3 uses out of the pump and now the battery has failed. I can't even fill a single pad before the battery dies.

,ai adoré cette pompe très compacte. Malheureusement, elle s'est arrêté de fonctionner après 3 rechargements.
