Basic resistor kit. Just needed a couple, but bought this kit due to the good value for the $. Functions correctly and easy to read the values. No durability issues so far, so build quality appears good.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I needed to repair a relatively new "all LED" light fixture that had been installed for over a year (could not even find the distributor to get parts). It's true that LEDs can last many years, but if the electronics fail, as happened in my case, I was able to repair it with some similar driver electronics but I needed to absorb some of the excess power in power resistors - this kit has a wide selection of values of resistances so I could choose the approximate value of dissipation values and then experiment with the values to achieve the best performance from my light fixture. This product has quality power resistors that should match the lifetime of the LEDs in my light fixture.

Been using these for experimental work where higher wattage is needed. They seem to be with specification listed

Well marked once you decipher their value stamping. The Omega symbol takes the place of the decimal point. I was needing values small enough that my DVM won't measure them but I suspect they are within tolerance. I measured the current of a 1 ohm resistor and it produced 1 amp at one volt. One minor nit is not all the leads are the same length and I had a little trouble fitting them in the box.
