if you are looking for something that looks the part then these 2 padlocks might do the job for you.These are most definitely budget locks, if you need something secured where you need the lock to be strong and secure maybe this isnt for you.I saw these for review and thought I would have a loot at them, I will be using one on my shed, its just a simple deterrent, I dont think these would last long against bolt cutters or a grinder. But the thing is they dont need to. its a deterrent.if you see 2 sheds one with a lock one without, then you go for the one without.Each lock (this was a twin pack) comes with 2 keys, the locks feel smooth and seem reliable, the D part is covered in some sort of rubberised material which should stave off rust for a bit, but also reduce noise when its rattled.The orange/red section is plastic and this feels to be the weakest part of the lock but as I mentioned before, it looks the part.

This is a mid sized padlock. It is key operated and comes with 2 keys. The locking mechanism feels very secure and has a reassuring click when you lock it.It's bright orange so easy to pinpoint when looking for your luggage at an airport.What's particularly good about this lock is the long neck of the clasp. It is oversized and can be useful if you are trying to padlock a gate or something like that which has quite a wide gap in between the two locking points.

I decided to get these 2 long shackle padlocks for my shed and side gate. One of the reasons for getting these KAWAHA padlocks, was that they are a matching pair, with matching keys, just makes it a little quicker in only needing the one key for either or both shed and side gate.The second reason was that they are advertised as heavy duty, I reality these padlocks are light weight. I should have realised that aluminium padlocks are not as rugged than metal padlocks, but as the shed and gate don’t require major security, hopefully they will be enough as a deterrent against the opportunist.The paddocks are protected from the elements with a thermoplastic case, thermoplastic covering on the shackle and rubber seal over the lock.Overall, these are a useful pair of matching padlocks for basic security.I hope you find my review useful and helpful.

I have been using similar padlocks on my back garden gate and shed for around 10 years now. The ones I have been using are finally starting to wear out and need replacing. So I was very pleased to see that these were available for testing.These are good quality padlocks, They are strong and sturdy. They do not pull open if you tug on them when closed. As standard with padlocks, you get 2 keys with each. I did notice that the key on padlock 1 opened padlock 2 and vice-versa. I don't know if the manufacturer makes sure that both padlocks you receive have the same key, or if there is only one lock that they have. The keys are not numbered, so I do suspect that they only have the one lock type. This shouldn't be an issue to domestic users, but could be an issue for any industrial users that may want to make sure that keys from one location cannot be used at another location to open up padlocks.The key hole on the padlocks has a very tight fitting waterproof plug cover that should prevent any water from entering into the key hole.These are very decent padlocks, and 2 for the current selling price of £15.99 is excellent value, so I would definitely recommend them.

The fist thing I noticed about the padlocks is they weigh very little. Reading the description this is because they are aluminium. To be perfectly honest, I am not sure what to think about that and I don't feel confident enough to use on higher security areas. I would prefer hardened and stainless steel..and pay more, However i may be wrong.The listing claims they are waterproof, and I can't see anything about the lock that would indicate otherwise. Other than the weight, they do seem very well made.Keys are of a reasonable quality considering the price - plus you get two.The definitely deserve more than a three at what equates to around £7 per lock, but I can't bring myself to award 5 stars.Just do your research and make sure aluminium is good enough for your application.

These locks are great. They function well, and they are long enough that they fit over my fence latch. 10/10

The padlocks come in a pair of two with a set of four keys that can be interchangeable between the locks. There is a cap where the keyhole is to avoid it being openly exposed. The cap has a little ridge on it that you can use your finger to pop it off and then to close, you simply click it back in place. The padlock has long shackles giving you more room to easily open and close versus locks where it is shorter and harder to get into. Measuring at about four inches in length and two inches in width altogether, the padlocks are resistant to water making it perfect for outdoor use although it can also be used in indoors settings without issue. The padlocks have an orange base while the lock and shackle are a matte black finish. The padlock base has a ripple pattern made of a thermoplastic while the shackle and lock are a smoothed out aluminum. The plastic makes it sturdier from impact and drilling while the shackles are a solid metal making it take a lot of effort to cut through from thieves. The lock closes and opens smoothly so it is good for enclosures that need to be access frequently. Overall, the padlocks look slick, offer high security, and is easy to open and close making it one of the better locking options out there, plus you get two of them in one purchase.

These locks are light-duty. They don’t look or feel very secure. But all I’m looking for is just an extra level of inconvenience for the would-be thief. These locks are perfect for my specific application. I’m using one of the locks for securing an outboard motor when the motor is mounted on my small boat (see attached photo). The motor has 2.5HP and weighs less than 25 pounds. Someone can easily walk off with it if I left the boat unattended even for 10 minutes. This lock lengthens the time it would take to get the motor off the boat. I was going to use the second lock on the trailer tongue. But the rubber padding on the lock’s shaft makes its diameter too big to fit through the trailer-locking hole. I’ll use the second lock for something else.

Two keyed alike weatherproof locks.These are very light for their size but very strong. They are very easy to use with smooth open and closing functions. I like the high visibility of the orange cover as it in itself makes it a visible deterrent to thievesVery good locks at a good price

I gave it 5 star, but other lock could be better depending of your application. It the first lock with that rubber finish that useful for it purpose. I had another lock with a rubber band on it to block the noise from metal to metal, but this one even help with the lock loop itself. I'm not sure about it weather proof capability, but I will be trying it this winter as temperature start to freeze.
