Nectar 12” Memory Foam Mattress, Queen, Medium Firm, 1-Year Trial

I’ve had the bed for about 5 months now, great bed. Have no issues with temperature, comfort, fit or support. I am 6ft 250lbs. I got a queen size and it’s working out great. I’d say the only thing reviews were correct about is, sitting on the edge will cause you to slowly slip off the bed. Edges are much more softer than the center. Other than that, I sleep great and can’t complain.

Amazingly easy and so much more comfortable than the mattress it replaced. No odor, inflated quickly. For my size 150ish pounds, it is firm and solid, a little too firm for side sleeping, but I just popped the old topper in cover on this and it is wonderful. If you need extra support around edges because you like to sit and tie shoes, it may not be the best choice, but I am loving it. On sale it was a wonderful deal, and I'm so glad I purchased after reading reviews around the web

First mattress I’ve purchased in about 10 years and I love it. Size is a king and my sleep quality is amazing. I’m a hot sleeper and it is very cooling. Suitable for kids as well. I purchased the full size mattress for my kid.

Firm, much firmer than expected. My wife and I both weigh under 200 lb and find it comfortable. We had an old serta memory foam mattress which was about twice as soft as this. We wanted something a little firmer but it turned out twice as firm after sleeping on it for a couple weeks now but its comfortable! Soft, imprints to your body just enough to not be completely stiff. I highly recommend this to anyone who is heavier (225 plus) and likes a more firm mattress.

Love our new mattress.The very first night was comfortable. My husband and I both have both been sleeping better. We replaced a Serta Posterure Pedic Hybrid. We only had it a year and paid a lot more for it. Nectar is so much better!

I ordered this mattress based on its good reviews to replace an old memory foam mattress that was about 7 years old. I was also convinced by the risk-free in home trial guarantee that Nectar advertises. Big mistake! I slept on this mattress for several months and found it much firmer and less comfortable than expected. Nectar’s advertising materials say it will break in, but it was still uncomfortable after months of normal use. I was waking up with back pain and soreness, and this affected my sleep quality. I decided to return the mattress using Nectar’s in-home trial guarantee, as it was outside Amazon’s return window. This process was anything but risk-free. Nectar makes you jump through hoops to return the mattress: it takes several emails just to get an RMA, then it must be picked up by their donation partner and inspected, and then they won’t give you a cash-equivalent refund but instead a prepaid Mastercard. I refused this and asked for a check or ACH transfer (which was within their policy at the time of purchase) and they refused. After contacting Resident Home’s (Nectar’s parent company) legal department, I was offered a settlement instead of a refund with a non-disclosure agreement keeping me from giving an honest review. I refused this settlement and was ghosted by their legal counsel. After filing a complaint with my state’s Attorney General, Resident Home refused to cooperate with the AG’s attempts to mediate. I am still owed a refund of nearly $1000, and will probably have to file a lawsuit to get it. I wound up buying a Tempur Pedic Cloud Hybrid mattress and am much happier with it. The quality of Tempur Pedic foam is much better and it costs a few hundred dollars more. I am sleeping better and my back is hurting less. You get what you pay for! Summary: If I could, I would give Nectar zero stars. Do yourself a favor and buy a different brand. Nectar’s mattresses aren’t worth it at over $900, the foam is nowhere near Tempur Pedic’s quality, and their risk-free in-home trial is anything but risk free.

We love our mattress!! This was recommended to us by a friend after our first mattress was too hard. The 12” height is soft enough to sit on and feel comfortable as a side sleeper but also firm enough for good sleeping support. It was ready within 24 hours out of the package and fit our bed perfectly! Would buy again!

I bought this a year ago as a guest bed, and it has been great for that. Comfortable and it sleeps cool, according to my guests. Worth the money for a decent guest bed.
