This was my very first kaolin clay mask and it did not disappoint! I’ve steered away from clay masks due to their drying ability but Lagom was a good introduction that I wholeheartedly recommend. It did not feel drying afterwards but perhaps it felt a bit taut on my face, although I immediately applied on a hydrating mask afterward to welcome in the needed hydration. Anyway, I’m digging its light texture which didn’t feel heavy on my skin as well as the adorable mini silicone spatula. Funny thing was, I’ve been scouring for the perfect silicone spatula to use with various masks without realizing this product came with it! No need to spend money on a spatula now, gotta love that. So far, I’ve used it once and will make it a weekly habit to see how it fares on my skin. There’s also no irritations and/or breakouts to report, which is amazing. In fact, I’ve used this just for a pimple that was smack dab on my chin - which helped greatly with the inflammation. What I’d love for this product to do is to eradicate my blackheads and enlarged pores. Obviously with the initial use, I didn’t see much improvement but perhaps over time? I feel this clay mask might as well get five stars although I’ll check back at a later time to update.

I have always wanted to try a real clay mask so this Korean one looked perfect!! I love that it comes with a tiny little spatula to spread the mask evenly on your face. The mask itself is super thick, so you have to work fast as it also starts drying fast. It has a super light scent that I can only describe as the scent of a fancy spa. It does have instructions on how to use on the box, which is to leave it on for 10-15 minutes before washing with warm water. I absolutely love how my face feels afterwards because I can't do peel off masks that irritate my skin, so wash-offs are my preference. This one actually leaves my skin feeling super soft, though I do have to moisturize so my face doesn't feel too dry after. Overall, this is definitely one of my favorite skincare routines I do monthly, and I will be restocking it for sure!! :)

Despite being a bit messier, clay masks are my favorite for pulling out gunk from my pores. This one has a fine grit and goes on smoothly. It gives a nice tightening sensation, and I do feel like it helps remove impurities. My skin is soft when I rinse it off. This isn't a peel that will show you all the stuff you get out, but it does seem to work with regular use (like 1-2 a week). The jar is large enough and quality good enough to justify the price imo.

The first round my skin burned and I have sensitive skin. Second time, it was a little less burnt and the third time my skin got used to it. It does work great.

I have a couple of areas on my face where I get little blackheads or clogged pores: my nose (including right under my nostrils) and my chin, and this mud mask has been so helpful! Normally, the only thing that works is when I use pore strips, but man are those painful to pull off! I also find that my skin is less oily the next day (I tend to use this more at nighttime). It's nice and thick, making it easy enough to apply. I love it!

typical cleaner/tightener. used on the nose/check/forehead area where i have dark pores. cleaned as a decent product No issues noted, no oil or dry skin. It did the pulling thing making stretched skin like the usual product. The only product I have reactions to is Nivea for Men, and this I didn't have any issue with.
