Why doesn’t the switch work when used with a USB-C Hub/Dock with an integrated pigtail cable via a USB-C coupler?

For issues such as black screens or USB devices not functioning properly, try flipping the USB-C connector to see if that resolves the problem. Note: While some users report success with this setup, it is not recommended.

What is the maximum number of extended displays supported on macOS？

One, the device supports one 4K@60Hz extended display on macOS.

Is this device compatible with Thunderbolt 3 devices, and are there any limitations?

Yes, but it only supports ONE extended display when used with Thunderbolt 3 devices, including laptops, monitors and docking stations. Additionally, when used with a Thunderbolt 3 dock, the video resolution is limited to 4K@60Hz.

Why does my wireless mouse/keyboard experience lag, dropped signals when the switch is connected, and how can I fix it?

USB 3.0 devices can emit interference in the 2.4 GHz range, disrupting wireless signals. To resolve this, use a USB extension cable to move the receiver away from the USB 3.0 device, or connect it to another USB 3.0/2.0 port to reduce interference.

I need a longer 20Gbps USB4 cable for the switch. Can you recommend compatible cables?

Sure. The following longer cables work with this USB-C Switch 1. Cable Matters [USB-IF Certified] 20Gbps USB 4 Cable (model: 201323-BLK-2m, ASIN: B0CCF99VZ9) 2. Cable Matters 20Gbps Right Angle USB C Cable (model: 201345-6, ASIN: B0C9P3RVTH)
