TOSHIBA 32" Class V35 Series LED HD Smart Fire TV, Voice Remote with Alexa, Free & Live TV

This 32" Toshiba model would be an excellent purchase at any price, but for under $100, it is a steal. It took me longer to remove this television from the excellent packaging than it did to complete set-up. It is a Fire tv, so after set-up, it immediately goes to the familiar Fire home page, but you can select the input to use your cable box, DVD player, etc. The 32" size is perfect for my bedroom. It fits my armoire perfectly, but if you have a huge room, you might want to go up a size. The picture quality is 1080p, I believe, although other reviewers have said otherwise. The picture is bright and sharp at factory settings, and the included remote is easy to use. I haven't tried adjusting the color, tint, contrast, etc, but it looks to be fairy simple. One thing I did notice, however, is that there does not seem to be a means to change the aspect ratio. For instance, the older shows on the retro stations, ie. MeTV, Antenna TV, are presented in a format that fills the screen from top to bottom but has black bars on each side. It is sort of like watching an older 19" tv. When commercials come on, or one of the newer old shows like Mash, come on, the whole screen is filled. This does not happen with my 55" LG 4k in the living room. With that one, the remote allows you to fill the whole screen, but not with this Toshiba. It us not that important to me, but it is worth mentioning if it matters to you. All-in-all, this is an excellent tv for an excellent price. I highly recommend it. Revised 12/11/2024 I wish I could give this TV more stars. I am extremely pleased with it. The picture is clear and bright, nearly as good as my 4k UHD LG. Get this, you will not be disappointed.

Very nice 32" screen. Good picture. Sound ok. Love the built in fire stick with this smart tv. Very easy setup. White LED at bottom center of the screen goes on when TV is off. Light may be a nuisance for bedroom where dark is preferred when TV is off, but no problem in kitchen, den, living room, basement, etc. Screen size is measured diagonally, but be sure to get true measure of the height and width needed to fit your space. The remote is well built and works well, but lacks some functionality. This 32" Toshiba has many streaming apps built in, bur some require subscription. Prime free with prime subscription. Highly recommend if 32" size is what you are looking for.

Bought this to use in a tent when we are out hunting as we have a solar pack to run it and it’s actually a really nice TV. I’m surprised how good the quality is for being a very low priced TV. It held up well for all the travel and movement we do with it and the smart feature works very well.

Wanted to clear something up—-as other reviewers have stated, Best Buy has this TV listed at 720p, while Amazon states 1080p. It is in fact 1080p—-depends totally on input signal. In my limited test, I found most programming is 720p, but some content will stream at 1080p, especially commercials! I verified 1080p via Netflix, Max and YouTube TV. For example, Netflix movie “Midway” streamed at 1080p. Today, football game on Fox was 1080p. Picture is great, navigation relatively easy, sound is fair. Note, speakers fire from the bottom, so may sound better mounted on wall. Added TV to my Amazon/Alexa account and the voice commands work fine, albeit with some delay. Finally, other reviews noted the potentially annoying remote receiver light on bottom of TV and inability to block it out for fear of disabling the remote control—- I verified it still works if you put electrician’s tape over it to block the light. I rate this TV as 4 stars and would definitely recommend, especially at sub $100 (granted, I haven’t tested any other TVs in this class).

Nice, - in exercise area. Works fine, decent picture, decent sound - I have hearing issues so this matters.

I read every review on this TV before I bought it. I opted for the two-year ASURION protection package just in case something went wrong. My set was in excellent condition and very easy to set up and get connected to Amazon and my WiFi network. I set it up via my smartphone scanning the QR code and using the remote. I still need to add a few more apps, but I’m very happy with the color and picture quality. I was even able to get my Apple TV app on it. I bought a 32” one to set inside my old entertainment armoire in my living room. I made sure to tape the feet to the turntable because the TV is lightweight and the feet were set widely apart. The sound is good and I don’t have to crank it up as others have said. I haven’t noticed any sound or picture fluctuations. Some people said this was a Canadian TV, but mine said “hecho in Mexico.” Not sure if the box or the TV was made there. The set works great and fits well in my space. I am not one who wants or needs a set that fills an entire wall in my house, and this will be used for occasional viewing. I mean, it was only $84.95 on CyberMonday. What’s not to love?!

Large enough to make movie night feel epic, but sleek enough to blend into the space like it was made for it. The Alexa Voice Remote is the real MVP. I press the mic and say, “Find crime dramas,” and seconds later I’m fully invested in a new series. No scrolling marathons, no tiny keyboard frustrations—just speak and stream. Sound? Surprisingly cinematic, thanks to DTS Virtual:X. It adds depth and immersion without needing a surround sound setup. My living room now sounds like a movie theater—minus the sticky floors. Apple AirPlay is the cherry on top. One tap and my favorite photos and videos are front and center on the big screen. It’s effortless and looks amazing. If you're looking for a TV that's smart, fast, and makes everything easier, this one checks all the boxes. Highly recommend.

The Absolute WORST TV I've ever owned, a Big purchase mistake. This is slow at everything cutting on, switching channels, etc but the worst thing is it just FREEZES out of the blue, for no reason. When this happens you have to cut it off and restart it and go through the process of getting back to your show or movie. Absolutely Unacceptable!!! I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER TOSHIBA PRODUCT AGAIN OR ANY TV THAT'S ALIGNED WITH AMAZON PRIME! A-Prime aligned products is akin to buying a cheap phone that's infested with Malware Ads and junk. Needless to say I'm very disappointed and have learned another invaluable expensive shopping and purchase lesson. Thank you Amazon and Toshiba.

Worked flawlessly since purchased. No need for a Firetv stick as it's built into the tv. One remote is perfect.

This was a christmas present for a young teen. We mounted it to the wall straight out of the box. It has the amazon firestick features without needing a firestick. TV is a nice size for a small bedroom. The price was great at the time of purchase. Definitely recommended

This is. Really nice tv with no lag. Only flaw is the sound so make sure you pick up an external speaker
