The 3d reflective cover has no other purpose but to protect the calculator. The 3d effect is only a stylish feature in my opinion

Can I hold digits in memory for 24 hours?

Hi. Not sure if I understood question correctly; My answer may not be useful. If you intend to keep the calculator powered on for 24 hours, then the data resides in memory without problems. (data does not survive in memory across boots / reboots I think).

Is this a non programmable calculator? can it be taken into exams?

It is non-programmable and my professors in college allowed me to use it.
