ThermoPro TP65C Digital Wireless Hygrometer Indoor Outdoor Thermometer Wireless Temperature and Humidity Monitor with Touchscreen Backlight Weather Station, 500 Feet or 150 Meter Range

This review is for the TP65C (which is the larger screen and has a remote outdoor sensor) I have another reviewer here to thank for the particular use-case that I've deployed this for. I wanted one well-placed outdoor sensor (in the garden, but in the shade) - and *two* inside monitors. When putting in or replacing the batteries on these units, they re-set and talk to each other once again. The 'CH' button also forces this handshake process. As such - by buying this product twice - I have one outdoor sensor working brilliantly with two monitors its linked to, and of course a spare outdoor sensor. Notes: Too early to talk about battery life; I'm using Energizer lithiums - but my sense is that they will last well The outdoor unit pings the inside monitors every 50 seconds - a red flash on the outdoor monitor, and a 'radio' icon flashes on on the indoor monitor screen - and the parameters duly update These units use 868MhZ - which seems to be definitely living up to its reputation for being able to penetrate walls and the like. It's easily and reliably reaching from our garden well into the bowels of the house, and the loft room The display is lovely and 'solid' (good contrast) - and big. Accuracy seems to be awesome! I've been comparing using lab mercury thermometers (you can't get those any more) The touch-screen buttons along the bottom of the screen are a nice - touch Read the instructions - as you can set the Min/Max record to show either 'All-time', or '24 hours'

Having used ThermPro product before with no problems, decided on this unit for my recently erected shed,seems to be reasonably accurate after comparing with another unit, as yet no problems, it cost a little more than other units but you are paying for a quality product from ThermoPro

Easy to set up. Clear display. Although it has a long range to the monitor, it really does need clear line of sight between the display and the monitor.

I have it on test in my detached garage about 15 meters away along with a separately purchased rechargeable sensor. Both were easy to set up and both are working perfectly. So far I can't fault anything. Recommended. Update 23/11/22 The system worked fine for about a month, (I even bought a third sensor), and then the 2 sensors in the garage simultaneously both lost contact and went blank, only the sensor in the house (2 meters away) continued to work. I changed the batteries in the base station and the one sensor that uses batteries and recharged the two rechargeable sensors. I mixed and matched the sensors and tried many different combinations, positions and lines of sight but whichever two are in the garage keep failing, sometimes after an hour or two, sometimes they will work for a day or so. I do not understand, if they are out of range they should not work at all, they should not work for a few hours, even 24 hours and then just stop. Also whichever are two in the garage always fail simultaneously and have done so numerous times. This suggests the problem is in the base unit. I have battled for weeks with this and I have run out of options - perhaps a new base unit would work but I am not prepared to throw good money on bad. The original unit plus 2 extra sensors has cost me @ £47 for what at first seemed good equipment - a few weeks later and I have an expensive load of junk that is good for nothing other than recycling. Based on my experience I am forced to change my recommendation to "avoid at all costs" unless you are working with distances of no more than @ 3 meters.

I've been using this since early January and I don't think I can go back to not having one of these. From my experience so far, the readings on the device are fairly accurate. The outside device generally seems to display similar temperatures to my local area's weather reports and the indoors one's readings match how the environment feels. The outside humidity readings are a little hit and miss, but I'm pretty sure it's because I live in an area where I'm boxed in on three sides by taller buildings. The only issue I have with it is that it takes a while to get an accurate reading, as in it can take a few minutes. That said, it isn't that big of an issue unless you put it in a new environment or the weather instantly changes. That also means that this device can only be used if it stays in one spot permanently. If you want a portable device to measure humidity and temperature this isn't the one, that's because, like I said earlier, it takes a while for it to sync its readings with any new environment. Another thing I think is worth mentioning is that the company's customer service is second to none. My device fell off the wall when I was cleaning and the screen broke. I asked them if they sell replacement screens but instead they offered to replace it free of charge.

Excellent Indoor/Outdoor Unit and very good value for money. Out of the many such units available on Amazon I selected this one on the basis of design and functionality and have not been disappointed. It's accurate (values are within 1% of my professional weather station, which this unit was bought to supplement), reliable, well designed and easy to read. The magnets on the back of the main display unit are a great feature and allow it to be mounted on a fridge or any steel faced appliance or stainless steel cupboard door. The backlighting feature is also useful in dark areas - it will reduce battery life if used frequently however. The RH readings are an additional bonus as are the Max/Min readings although there doesn't seem to be a distinction between All Time and 24 Hr. Fitting the remote sensor outdoors in a sheltered but secure position is tricky and fiddly - finding a dome headed screw of the right size was a challenge - it would have been great if one had been supplied. Care needs to be taken to keep the remote sensor(s) in range too - I bought an additional one for location in an Orangery - if there are too many walls between it and the base station it will lose contact. Overall a great purchase, outstanding delivery (it came within 18 hours even on free delivery service) and excellent value for money.

Easy to set up, except for the fact that it’s designed with three channels, and since we only have one unit, selecting CH1 was a bit tricky and required reading the instructions. Aside from that, simply inserting the included batteries and placing the outdoor sensor outside allows the device to immediately display both the outdoor and indoor temperatures. Very convenient. When the room is warm inside, it’s easy to forget how cold it is outside, so I always check it before heading out.

I initially bought the smaller basic-looking temperature monitor and decided I wanted another display for showing outside temperature but for different areas of the house. I got this one just to compare the differences and this larger model is now the "main" kitchen display so we can assess conditions for our garden. It's very nice, quite a solid unit, the magnet on the back is strong and doesn't slide down the fridge. It's big enough that anyone can see it, not too big, not too small. The accuracy depends on the transmitter itself but when I've had the outdoor transmitter next to the monitor, they report the same exact numbers so I believe they're at least in tune with each other. My only gripe about this unit is that the backlight stays on for only 15 seconds, as stated in the manual. It would be nice if it stayed on longer, maybe 30 to 60 seconds. It was annoying that it goes off even when you're pressing buttons like changing the channel so you have to press the light button again. My parents are old and confused by this kind of thing, the light went off and they were pressing around to make the light come back on again but inadvertantly changed the channel and temperature units. More of a user error but could be avoided by having the light stay on longer or "reset" the 15 seconds with button presses. Admittedly, I don't like the blue colour backlight, it would be nice if it was just white with that grey-ish LCD display that I know exists. Blue is hard on the eyes in the dark. Other than that, it does the job. The monitor unit doesn't have any labels indicating its own model number or certifications (the smaller less-capable unit actually does). It updates every 50-60 seconds approx. (different transmitters have different timing to avoid overlapping signals). Pro tip: Do NOT hold the "force" button (the only button) on the transmitter while inserting batteries; you will make it enter a test mode where it transmits CONSTANTLY and not just once per minute. A device in this mode is (for the lack of a better word) illegal. You're unlikely to get in trouble but just make sure you don't hold that button in.

Efficaci i pulsanti a sfioro, con ottima sensibilità e risposta immediata. Buona la qualità estetica dei materiali. Buona anche la precisione dei parametri rilevati. La misurazione dei dati di temperatura e umidità interne fatta dal sensore montato sul display è precisissima: coincidono esattamente con quelli rilevati dalla centralina domotica che gli è posta a fianco ed inoltre coincidono con quelli di un altro sensore Thermo Pro, il mod. TP55, che ho preso per installarlo altrove. Mettendoli tutti nello stesso posto e confrontandone i dati, lo scostamento - che si verifica raramente - è comunque nell'ordine di 0,1° per la temperatura e di 2 punti percentuali rilevati per l'umidità, quindi completamente irrilevante. La misurazione dei dati rilevati dal sensore esterno, posto sempre a fianco alle altre unità, aveva invece talvolta (e sottolineo solo talvolta) uno scostamento un po' più marcato: a volte per la temperatura rilevata differiva da quella della medesima unità interna anche di 0,5° e l'umidità di un 8-10%. Tali parametri, però, tornavano ad allinearsi se l'ambiente veniva lasciato in condizioni stabili e di quiete assoluta per alcune ore (senza aprire finestre, cucinare o lavare i pavimenti). Pertanto, viene da dire che anche il sensore esterno rileva correttamente i dati ed è tarato allo stesso modo, ma ha sensibiltà e tempi di reazione diversi rispetto al sensore montato sull'unità interna-schermo. Solo per questo lascio 4 stelle, invece che 5, alla voce "accuratezza". Davvero un buon prodotto, consigliato.

Kontrast çok iyi, buna rağmen gölgelenme ya da gölge rakamlar yok. Net ve okunaklı. Hem iç hem dış sıcaklığı ölçen iki arabirimi bulunmakta. Tercihen dış sıcaklık arabirimini farklı bir odaya da koyabilirsiniz. Eğer dışarıya koyacaksanız pil yuvasında kauçuk koruma olmasına rağmen su ve güneş almayacak (gölge) bir yere koyarsanız bozulma ya da olduğundan yüksek sıcaklık gösterme ihtimalini en aza indirgemiş olursunuz. Bu iki arabirimin aynı odada yan yana bırakıldığında farklı ölçümler yaptığını belirten (hatta gösteren) kullanıcılar var. Bu doğrudur fakat şöyle bir husus var. Öncelikle arada 0,5 ila 1,0 derece fark olması normal bir sapmadır. Bundan daha fazla görünen sapmalar iklimseldir. Yani uzun vadede yine maksimum 1 derece farka indirgenecektir. Bu değerlerin sensör tarafından normalize edilebilmesi için 1 haftalık bir kesintisiz kullanım gerekir. Bu 1 haftalık sürenin sonunda sensörler mevcut iklime adapte olur. İklimsel farkın 2 nedeni var. Birincisi iç ve dış arabirimlerin hassasiyet farkı. İkincisi ise iklim değişikliği. Adı üzerinde iklim değişikliği, yani sensörlerin homojenize tam yüzey sıcaklığı coğrafyanın degişmesiyle birlikte de fakto değişir. Aynı odadaki 2 sensörün bir süre farklı sıcaklık ölçmesinin ikinci nedeni ise dış ünite sensörünün üretim amacından dolayı iç ünite sensörüne kıyasla "daha az hassas" olmasının gerekmesidir. Bu fiyata elbette endüstriyel çipli bir entegre beklemeyin. İki eleştirim var. Birincisi herhangi bir koruma olmadan ürünü "neyse ki orijinal kutusuyla" kartona atıp yollayan Amazon'a. Lütfen biraz daha özenli. İkincisi ise içinden çıkan piller. İnanılmaz kalitesiz ve akma tehlikeleri var. Ürünün fiyatı oldukça makul, kalitesine oranla ihtiyaç duyanlar için gayet alınabilir bir cihaz. Nem ölçümü de gayet tutarlı.

Ce thermomètre/hygromètre est simple et efficace ; l'installation du capteur externe fourni + un autre capteur s'est faite automatiquement, sans autre manipulation que l'insertion des piles (fournies). L'affichage est très agréable et on a toutes les données d'un coup d'oeil, même si je préfère l'agencement de l'affichage du TP55 ; ce dernier est à privilégier selon moi si vous n'avez pas besoin de capteur externe. Lorsqu'on utilise plusieurs capteurs, les informations de ces capteurs s'affichent en boucle toutes les 8 sec environ, c'est bien pensé. La précision est bonne même si pour l'hygrométrie j'ai des écarts allant jusqu'à 4% avec mon Thermopro TP55, soit le max de la tolérance (+/- 2%). Mais si l'on souhaite une mesure plus précise on doit passer à des modèles beaucoup plus onéreux. A voir la durée des piles, dommage que la station et les capteurs ne soient pas rechargeables par USB. On peut aussi regretter, comme sur la plupart des modèles, l'absence d'un petit cache étanche pour le capteur externe, il faut se le procurer par ailleurs ou le bricoler.
