JJC 49mm Front Lens Cap Cover for Canon R100 R50 + RF-S 18-45mm Kit Lens

I picked up this JJC 49mm lens cap to protect my new Elgato Facecam 4K, and it fits like it was made for it. It snaps on securely, removes easily, and gives me peace of mind when I'm not recording. My camera stays mounted on my desk with my Elgato Prompter, so dust is always a concern between recording sessions. Instead of leaving the lens exposed, I just pop this cap on when I'm done. It keeps the glass clean and protected without adding any bulk. The center-pinch design is a nice touch because it's easy to grab, even with the camera mounted in my setup. The build quality feels solid, and it doesn't feel like a cheap aftermarket accessory. It's a small purchase that helps protect a much more expensive camera. If you own the Elgato Facecam 4K and want an easy way to keep the lens dust-free and protected, I highly recommend this lens cap.

Excellent. This is better made than the one 3rd party lens cap I lost. This one also has more features such as an elastic loop with a cord and adhesive tab. I lost my other lens cap because it did not have a tether like this one. This was ordered for a fujifilm and it is a perfect fit into the lens. The fit is perfect and very tight and secure. The cap seats deep enough into the rim of the lens. When I seat this cap into a same size 58mm diameter Hoya filter on the lens, the cap still attaches well, but does not seat as deeply because the external rim of the filter is not as deep. Wonderful price for a high profile lens cap.

Fits perfectly and is meade to hold up

Works great! So glad I have something to keep my lens safe- my other one kept falling off and got lost. Fits great and the strap also fits perfect.

The lens cap cover seems kinda lower quality but it gets the job done. It is solid for a low priced replacement cover. The strap is helpful; I’d recommend looping it into the small hole on the cover instead of using the glue to attach it onto the cover.

I thought I was going to use just the cover and put the elastic band in the miscellaneous drawer, but I tried it and it actually sticks very well (3M adhesive, no surprise) and it is nice to retain the cap while taking photos. I went ahead and bought more!

Bought these to replace the original on my Nikon that broke. Fits well and the elastic strap keeps it from getting lost.

I needed a new lens cap for my Nikon 200-500mm telezoom lens after mine fell off and this does the trick. It goes perfectly and sits securely on the lens, even better than the Nikon cap that came with it. Very good buy.

This JJC 58mm front lens cap fits properly and stays secure on the lens. The elastic anti loss cap keeper is useful and attaches easily using the included 3M tape. Once attached, the strap helps prevent losing the cap during shooting. The cap itself feels solid and works as expected for protecting the lens. The adhesive holds well so far and does not interfere with camera use. Just make sure your camera lens uses 58mm threading before ordering, as fit depends entirely on that size. Overall, a practical and affordable lens cap solution with an added anti loss feature. I would recommend it if you want a secure replacement cap and savings when compared to OEM Canon replacement.
