Laminate Wood Flooring Installation Kit with Tapping Block, Pull Bar, Mallet and 20 Spacers #81224

I redid my flooring this weekend, and this is one of the items that I used to help me along. The spacers are garbage. They work as intended in creating space, but their design makes them not stay in place very well, and if they do stay in place, they do not remove very well. Had to cut half of them because they would not be removed from the spaces that they occupied. The hammer is small and feels almost like a toy hammer. Luckily, I have also purchased a bigger and better hammer, so my wife and I could work together. The bar tool to help when the boards are against the wall was the more useful of the tools, but by the end of the weekend this was bent out of shape and pretty much useless. All in all, you get what you pay for, and I would not repurchase any of these items.

For the price, you can't beat it. Plenty of spacers and the hammer alone would have cost me $15 at Home Depot. My only complaint is the bar. My husband almost managed to straighten out the one end because it's a thinner metal. As long as you're not installing the click vinyl tile, you'll probably be ok. It worked great on our laminate.

The hammer is undersized; like a child’s play hammer. The pull bar broke on the ninth plank. Very poor metal. Tapping block chopped a side off. Not worth trouble of shipping back. But worth giving a bad review.Have already told friends to avoid this deal.

Did one room without these tools and regretted it. Did the next room after receiving these and the installation was much easier. Wish they came with instructions or a guide. Wacked the pull bar with a large rubber mallet and it started to bend the bar. I would recommend only using the included mallet.

Don’t even think for a second about attempting to install laminated wood flooring without these tools. You won’t be able to and using other tools in their place will likely cost more in damages that the kit cost. I thought twice about it before I ordered it and I am so glad I did not make of not buying it. There are several simlar kits but I chose this one based on price and availability. I do recommend this particular kit.

Do mainly to the walls in our condo not making direct contact with the floors ( there is a small space between the wallboard and the outer walls at the floors) the spacers were difficult for me to use. The other tools worked very well.

The spacers are okay but they are only spacers anyway. The hammer is pretty small and the bar is junk. The one thing I used the most was the tapping block which was perfect for the costco flooring.

This products are very cheap as I started using it the hammer broke and metal bar bend. I waste my money here.
