Redline Tuning 21-11035-02 Hood QuickLIFT Plus System Compatible with Ford Mustang 2015-2023 (All Black Bolt-in Components)

This kit is one of the easiest, highest quality, most complete and simple to install designs I've seen. I watched the installation video a couple of times before I started and was able to complete the installation by myself in 30 minutes. Every part fit as advertised and the special hole drill bit included made the drilling of the battery cover simple and straightforward. My hood now opens easily and at about 1/2 way open the gas struts take effect and open the hood the rest of the way. A no brainer addition for any Mustang owner.

Have redline in both of my vehicles. Easy install, just cool when you open your hood once every month to refill the windshield washer fluid 😆

This works very well once installed. I would definitely watch the video a few times. It's very easy to install with the exception of "slip red insert into slot." It's actually difficult to get in in there, especially without dropping the red insert into the frame of the car. They probably should have figured out a way to have the red insert permanently attached to the bolt, so this can't happen. Once you get all that squared away, the rest of the install is really easy and really fast.

Works great on my after market cowl hood makes it a lot cleaner look and more presentable.

I bought these for my 2016 GT premium. The install was quick and they work great.

Mustangs haven't used hood struts until the 2025 models. Nobodprefers a hood prop rod to struts. Redline provides an easy do it yourself strut product that is easy to install and let's you open your hood with less effort and eliminates the hood prop.
