I was a bit reluctant after reading some of the reviews but I'm really happy with earbuds: really good sound quality and noise cancelling, good fit and a decent battery life. Only thing I've noticed that other people have pointed out is occasionally disconnecting but in that price range I think they are worth it.

I have had this for well over a year now, and honestly it has improvement my gym, driving and office experiences in several ways. First it obviously cancels out sound which means I hear far less nightclub music at the gym and I don’t even need the volume as high. This in turn means my ears don’t ring after going to the gym. Also you can use them without playing music so when you need to concentrate you can just put them in. I like them for driving and blocking out road noise for the same reason. The aware setting is great for running in busy places or talking to people when you can them on, and don’t have the box. And it’s the box you charge. The earphones only need putting in the charging box for a few mins to be fully charged. My one issue is that they aren’t a perfect fit for me, so when I’m running I have to readjust them every 10 mins, but as I only ever run 10km this is only about 4-5 times so it’s not a big issue. I’m sure it probably fits others better. Regardless they are just awesome.

Edit: updating to 1 star because they're faulty, there was a crackling noise in the right ear that gradually got worse and worse until one day it started screeching non-stop. I got them replaced and the replacement had the EXACT SAME ISSUE that manifested just a few weeks after I received them. No damage has been done to the replacement, they have not been dropped or exposed to any harmful conditions a single time. Don't waste your money. I'm very conflicted about these. First, the good stuff: the sound quality is very good, the noise cancelling is GREAT - probably the best I've ever had. They're generally very comfortable, except the right one keeps falling out if I move more (e.g. when I do yoga or clean my flat), but I've accepted that my right ear is probably just made wrong - these are not the first earbuds that fall out of it while the left one is ok. The battery life was very good in the beginning, but then I dropped them and it became worse - again, probably my fault. Now, the bad stuff. Every time you put them in, there's a voice notification telling you how much battery is left and if they're connected or not. They can't be turned off and are really annoying. The same happens every time you change the mode, when battery gets low, etc. Also, they're very big and clunky - both the case and the earbuds. The case is much bigger than regular cases and does not comfortably fit into most female pockets (might be a problem with female pockets), and the earbuds protrude from my ears a lot, therefore I used to accidentally switch of the music by touching them, before I got used to their size. The whole structure is quite clunky and seems to be flying out of my hands more often than usual earbuds (again, might be a me problem). The case feels cheap - the lid seems to be made from some thin plastic, and it always feels like if it falls, that lid might break right off. Also, probably the biggest problem I had was that they wouldn't connect to my phone if the battery was even a bit lower than 100%, or if they had spent some time outside of their case without being used. Even the annoying notification voice was gone in these cases, as if the device was completely dead. I had to chat with customer support who told me how to fix it: turns out keeping my finger on their sensors for a few seconds wakes them up. In general, for the price I definitely expected better quality and to at least have full control of what is being spoken into my ear. However, if you're looking for great noise cancelling, I have not yet found anything better.

These headphones are excellent. I have previously used the Sony WF-1000XM3, and found that they would often disconnect, and even having tried with a variety of tips they never felt like they fit well. These Bose in-ear headphones have a tip & seal design, to ensure they are properly seated in your ear, which also helps with the noise cancelling, which is also excellent. The sound quality is superb, across a variety of music genres, even at low volumes. The noise cancelling so good that I’m not even aware people are talking around me, and can barely even hear loud noises such as cars or trains (be careful of what’s going on around you!). I have never needed to use these at more than about 2/3rds of max volume as the noise cancelling is so good. The battery lasts ages, I’ve owned these for several months and icky charged them 3-4 times so far. They also charge very quickly. The only downside, which is relatively minor, is that the headphones don’t really sit well within the charging case, like on the Sony headphones. More like they sit on top of a magnetic slot. Tuis can mean if you drop them that the headphones will pop out. To the people that have mentioned the ‘weird voice’ that says ‘headphones connected’ as soon as you put them on, that sounds very low quality; either this isn’t as bad as it used to be, or I’m simply not bothered by it. Overall I’m very happy with these headphones - if your looking for in-ear headphones with excellent quality audio and excellent noise cancelling then these are the ones to get.

I bought my Bose buds in December 2024 and have got a lot of use out of them. I am very pleased with them. I already have Sennheiser Momentum over the ear headphones which I love. I found the sound of the Bose over the ear headphones a little lifeless when I was buying the Momentums in 2018 and didn't like the sensation of the ANC with the Bose either. I was taking a risk when ordering the Bose QC Buds as I hadn't heard them and was relying on reviews. The sound of the QC buds is really good and I am very impressed with the ANC. These cannot be described as lifeless! That feeling of pressure I experienced with the ANC from the Bose over the ear phones in 2018 when I ruled them out as an option is not there but it still works more effectively than the Momentum phones I have (they are gen2). I also think the ANC with the Sennhesers works well enough by the way. The dynamic range is impressive with the QC buds. Bass is strong and clean with good separation across the frequency range. There is a lot of detail. For a few weeks when I first got these I neglected my Sennheiser cans. When I eventually went back to them I was blown away. I was immediately reminded why I paid twice the price for them compared to the Bose QC buds. I prefer the depth and richness of the midrange from the Momentum over the ears and find the sound they offer is more balanced and an overall bigger sound that propells them to a much higher level. Vocals are a delight with the Momentums. I don't get this with the QCs although I do marvel at the detail and clarity of the Bose. I can listen with the Sennhesers for a long time and not feel any fatigue. It's not quite as good with the Bose which I have found get a bit tiresome but only after a pretty long time. They are comfortable to wear though and feel pretty secure once in place. The only criticisms I have with the QC buds are 1. the perceived quality of the case. This feels quite cheap and fragile compared to other buds I have owned. It is also a Matt finish which I find is quite slippery in my hands. Something with a bit more grip would be better for me. 2. I've also had a few issues with one of the buds not working when I first put them into my ears. I think this may be when I am too quick. They seem to need time to find each other. A little frustrating but popping then back in the case and trying again has always worked so far. So, in summary I am very happy with the Bose QC buds. I owned Lypertek Z3 buds before that went wrong (I owned two sets of these and liked them but neither pair lasted long). The Bose QC buds are a significant step up from the Lypertek Z3s. When I bought the Bose buds they were £129 which I think is excellent value for money!

Never used Bose earbuds before so wasn’t too sure what to expect but very good quality, price is great as well. Earbuds are super easy to set up, they work best if you install the Bose QC app as you can customise your preferred equaliser settings to adjust treble, bass, touch controls and voice commands. The Earbuds connect instantly to your chosen device and are very comfortable to wear for a few hours. The case is slightly chunky and aren’t particularly suited to fitting in my jeans pockets but makes up for it with the long battery life and great active noise cancelling feature, I can barely hear anything outside of my music which is great for my personal downtime.

I Bought these after my Technics AZ80s developed a fault, couldn't Hear Vocals in the Right Ear Bud and very quiet comepared to the left ear..was like listening in mono thruvthe ledt ear only, very Annoying! After Owning The Bose QC over ear Headphones for home use for around 2 uears now, and being Impressed with the Sound Quality I decided I would Go for The Bose QC Buds after alot of deliberation over those or the Sennheiser Momentum 4s, as i also own the Sennheiser HD599 open back over ear phones too, which have Quality sound, but are a wired Overear, and I prefare a Bud for Outdoor use. The sound quality of These Bose QC Buds is as expected from Bose, deep Base, excellent Noise Canceling and Quality aware sound, so you don't have to remove the Buds to listen to A conversation or the Cashier when at the till doing shopping, they also have customisable tap Bud features, volume, track forward back etc..However! The main things I not Happy about which really is thorn in the Rose for these are.. 1, Having the Bose QC overear headphones I assumed I would be able to pair my new Buds with that app...Nope not at all! You need to download at totally different Bose app for the Buds! It does have good features..but still..I now have 2 Bose apps on my Phone! 2, And this is the Major issue for me! Which grinds my gears on an almost daily basis..The pairing is absolutely Rubbish! The headphones either Pair 1 earbud and not the other, won't pair at all, then I need to re pair them, and when you put them away In the case.. they sometimes shutdown, sometimes they don't...and you have to turn your BT off or else you don't hear calls , messages etc...I would have expected Better From Bose, I have updated the Firmware and that hasn't fixed the issues! All in all sound Quality good, noise Canceling great, Connectivity Rubbish! If I could return I would, but I'm past my Return Date..oh And 3, the Quality of the Earbud case feels very cheap and nasty, the top lid is very thin! You expect more from a high end product, my Technics were well built had no issues apart from rain and if you had a hood up would interfere with the touch functions and would turn your headphones on and off etc, I also do not like the fact Alexa is built into the Technics...not something I ever would want or need! But that's a story for another product, Not the Bose I'm leaving A review for! Think I'm just going to go back to Wired Buds for outdoor use now we have adapters seen as the 3.5mm Jack's have been removed from smartphones.

Overall they are fantastic and well worth the more expensive price. (I got them on sale for £129) My number 1 priority was noise cancellation. I work in a busy office and concentrating sometimes is very difficult. After a long search, and trying out the Sound Core liberty 5's and the EarFun Air Pro 4, which were both useless. I landed on these or the Apple Airpod Pro 2. After watching a lot of review videos, I was leaning towards the Apple ones, even though they were more expensive. However for every video that said they were the best noise cancelling airbuds on the market, there were counter videos saying they were nothing special. So I went with Bose instead as most of the complaints about them were to do with the app or touch buttons, not the ANC. Noise cancelling wise they are very good, they don’t block out everything though. Standard talking is almost completely blocked out but I can still hear when people cough for example or talk loudly. A couple of peoples voices in my office are more audible than others so I wonder if it’s a pitch thing. Sound quality is very good, when I go from these to my other earbuds I use at home there is a noticeable difference. Comfort wise they are ok, I can wear them for about an hour before I have to reseat them because they are digging into my inner ear. Regarding the other complaints I mentioned earlier about the app and touch buttons. The app is alright generally but first time connection was pretty useless. The app is locked until you connect your earbuds, but even after saying they were connected, the app wouldn’t move on to the next page. This isn't just on first connect either, I've sometimes had it where my earbuds are connected but the app says they aren't. Also sometimes they just don't connect, who knows why but its desperately frustrating. Earbud touch controls are also useless, touch buttons should be outlawed and replaced with normal buttons. There is also a very annoying issue whereby if the case runs out of battery, the earbuds stop working even if they still have charge in them. Since reviewing i have changed my review to be 4 star because of constant connectivity and pairing issues which drive me absolutely spare... Update: Reduced to 3 starts, the connectivity and pairing on these buds is so bad it defies reason. They never connect first time, i have to constantly turn them on and off , turn bluetooth on and off, manually connect them to my phone in order for them to connect. And even when they are connected they report there's a connection issue and is should restart the device they are connected to. Overall though, the pros still outweigh the cons.... just

Buenas No soy de hacer muchas reseñas pero de verdad que quiero exponer mi experiencia. Vengo de unos Bosé de diadema y la verdad que estoy encantado, pero para jugar tumbado o ahora en verano pues prefiero los earbuds. Vi comentarios de personas que no se le emparejaba bien o que se les desemparejaba. Yo no he tenido ningún problema. Los he usado con un iPhone y con 2 pc ( portátil y lenovo legión go) y de momento perfecto. Cancelación de ruido. Punto excelente tiene 3 modos - sin cancelación (nada que explicar) - con cancelación modo silencioso creo que se llama. La que más uso que es una maravilla. Tengo el audio al 50% y se escucha solo lo que escucho y nada de la calle - modo alerta. Esto está bien para poder escuchar con claridad los ruidos de tu alrededor. Si te preguntas para qué puede servir esto es para correr por la calle sin miedo a morir o escuchar a tus hijos por la noche mientras ves una peli Batería. Yo no he llegado a gastar nunca la batería. Te da entre 6 y 8 horas en función del volumen y entiendo que otros factores que vete tú a saber cuáles. Comodida. Son bastante cómodos. Se conectan nada más colocarlos y la verdad son problemas. Calidad de audio. Es buenísimo en este aspecto. Para mi uso es como tener unos de diadema puestos Cosas negativas. Cómo saber cuándo cargar la caja que no los earbuds. Ya que el nivel de batería de los cascos te lo cantan los cascos al encender o te salen en la app. Pues según el manual una luz brilla si entra entre 2 porcentajes. Si no parpadea si no… no sé cuánto costaba ponerlo en la app. Otro problema es que al emparejarlo a 2 dispositivos al mismo tiempo falla. Se vuelve algo inestable. La app no me detecta los cascos y bueno. Cuando los voy a usar en un dispositivo lo desconecto del otro Espero haber podido ayudar aunque sea un poco

Not bad. Though after using the higher version, this one doesn’t come close. Even with noise cancelling on full, I can hear my dog bark in the next room. Secondly you have to download another Bose app for interaction. The previous app for the QC 2 won’t help.

I was gifted a pair of these Bose Quiet Comfort Earbuds by a close friend of mine. I have been using Air Pod Pros both the 1st and 2nd Generation exclusively and nothing else. I use Foam Tips on my Air Pod Pros and have been very happy with the sound quality, noise cancellation effectiveness, and comfort with the Foam tips. I ordered some Foam Tips for these Bose QC Earbuds and I'm not sure if it was just the brand or simply how the tips mount to the Bose QC earbuds but I did not like the Foam Tips that I purchased for these ear buds. They did not create an effective seal when inserted into the ear canal and it did not matter if it was S/M/L because of the lack of the seal creation it rendered the noise cancellation useless. I have had these about 3 days now and have been giving them a good test run. The silicone tips in medium that come attached to the Bose QC earbuds have actually been comfortable to wear in my ears. I don't understand why they have been so comfortable to wear seeing that Apple Air Pod Pros silicone tips hurt my ears. The silicone Tips on the Bose QC create a great seal while in my ear canal and the noise cancellation is every bit as effective as my Air Pod Pros using the Foam tips. If you go read earlier reviews on the Bose QC earbuds you will see all the negative reviews about connection issues, mic issues, etc. Bose revamped the Bose QC earbuds correcting all the issues from their earlier versions of the ear buds. In addition to that they came out with an app to compliment the ear buds. In the Apple Store it's called Bose QC earbuds. I charged the ear buds to 100% in the case when I first opened them up in the box. I downloaded the app from the Apple App Store. I went to Bluetooth on my phone and connected the Bose QC ear buds to my phone. Open the case and it should put them in pairing mode automatically. I placed the ear buds in my ears and opened the app. I connected my ear buds to the app. Right away I saw there was a software or firmware update. While the ear buds are in your ears and the app is open and you have good signal run the update took about 3 minutes. You can customize everything on your ear buds to your personal preferences in the app. It is extremely easy to do in the app. You can also name the earbuds in the app and on your phone. The mic quality has been good and no one has complained to me yet. The battery life has been great. I think at $149 you will not find a better pair of noise cancelling ear buds. They are performing as good if not better than my Air Pod Pros. The one feature that I have been enjoying is the voice command feature to control things. You can turn your camera on. Maybe you want to take a selfie or get a group photo. Wearing your ear bud(s) you can say Hey Headphones...(pause)...Take Photo and the iPhone camera will take a picture. It is very slick. Great value for the money! Considering I got mine gifted from one of my buddies these have exceeded my expectations. They are every bit as good as my Air Pod Pros 2nd generation. These will be my primary ear buds moving forward. Because Bose revamped them, added an app to compliment them, and kept the name the same there is a lot of confusion by customers. They do not understand the issues with the earlier versions have been corrected. I did not even know until I started stumbling onto videos discussing all of this stuff. Give them a try you will be pleasantly surprised. This coming from someone who has only used Apple Air Pod Pros for last several years. I know Bose is good because I have used many of their over the ear noise cancelling headsets in the past. QC1, QC2, QC25, QC35, QC45. These QC earbuds with their noise cancelling are every bit as good. They sound great. Hope this review helps someone in their decision making.
