BugMD Pet Safe Multi-Insect Killer & Repellent | Peppermint Oil Spray for Spiders, Ants & Roaches | Indoor & Outdoor Bug Spray

I have tried & purchased so many different types of roach/bug killer treatments & sprays. I've spent around $300 worth of products & prevention. This product, by far, is one of the very best on the market. It competes with professional services—but you still need to do your part. Let me explain.. First off, this Multi-Insect spray kills AND repells (a 2-in-1 product). If you have a really bad roach/bug problem, I don't believe you'd be able to fix the issue with just a roach killer - you'll definitely NEED both, not only to kill the bugs, but prevent them from returning: roach killer + repellent. Trust me, I've spent a lot of time, money & energy on products that didn't help. I couldn't figure out why nothing was working. #1. You must be proactive. Meaning, after every meal, clean up all crumbs & food scraps - otherwise you're defeating the purpose. Example: Leaving a lightly used plate with ketchup or sauce in the trash overnight only makes the problem worse. * After every meal, I put all plates, cups, napkins, empty cans, etc, into a large, 1-GAL Ziplock baggie. Sealed & stored in the fridge until it's full, and only thrown away when it's trash night. (Yes, I know this sounds excessive, but keep in mind that roaches smell your crumbs, drinks & sauces using their powerful antennae from up to 20–30 feet & will travel until they have reached their destination = your house!). You need to find a way to keep all left over food scraps, drinks & condiments contained in an air tight closed bag.. NOT just thrown in the trashcan as the scent is still exposed. #2. Bug MD uses 4% Pure Peppermint Essential Oil (in addition to their roach killer).. * I learned that Pure Peppermint essential oil overstimulates & disturbs their sensory receptors, making them avoid the area. Even if they smell food, they will literally turn & travel in the opposite direction to avoid it. This is the "Repellent" aspect in this formula that works so well. I've bought other brands that were cheaper. Keep in mind that regular peppermint oil is a lot weaker than Pure Peppermint Essential oil. This combination of bug & roach killer, in addition to the pure essential oil is what makes this product highly effective. I don't have any bug issues now, but I always keep a bottle of this on hand just in case. No other product is better IMHO. * The scent is STRONG. Do not be heavy handed, even if you have a bad roach problem.. Start off with 1 or 2 sprays, open your windows & go from there.. Start off slow. If you have pets: USE CAUTION as it will irritate their eyes & nose IF you over-spray. I have a dog & when I use this, I open the windows & spray (1) room at a time, very lightly.. A day or two later, I'll spray another room, and so fourth, etc. This will keep the Peppermint scent lingering - helping to repel bugs long-term. Always keep an eye on your pet!! PS. Make sure to seal & caulk any & ALL cracks & openings. Good Luck!

Love that it’s plant-based and pet-safe. Works well and the peppermint scent is a refreshing change from harsh chemical sprays. I only sprayed this around the 3 doors and the ants that had been coming into the kitchen stopped immediately.

It works great on all kinds of different bug problems. My only issue is that for me, I seem to be allergic to something in the ingredients. After I spray, I inevitably have these pink-purpleish spots come up on my lower arms. They take quite awhile to clearing up & go away.

To be honest. I bought this product because I bought a same brand to help get rid of some pest issues. It works for the moment on contact but it doesn't get rid of the problem. It is however, one of the better brand on the market. I would suggest purchase to propell as a preventative measure more so than infestation fix.

Used it to get rid of springtails, 100% worked, loved that it’s a natural product, and overall I was very happy! Only downside is the strong smell of citronella but if you’re spraying inside just air out the area for a bit.

leaves a mint fragrance but works

Purchased on a recommendation by a friend. We in Southwest Florida have a very small spider known as a spinybacked orb weaver that spins webs overnight just about everywhere, but most annoyingly inside screened pool enclosures. I recceived the product and used it on 11 webs inside and outside the pool enclosure. Upon direct contact the spider is very active, then slows down and appears dead. I then spray them again when they stop moving. Revisiting the webs 30 minutes later finds the spiders back on their webs and busily making repairs. Spraying them all again just repeats the cycle. If you are trying to rid your area of the spinybacked orb spider, this is not the product.
