Compact Camera That Does It All
Unboxing this camera is fun, and I was happy to see it included a nice wrist strap and a battery. I knew it was a compact camera, and the size was perfect. It fit in my non-jean pants pocket, but it's probably better suited for a jacket pocket. The design and quality are stellar. Years ago, I had many film cameras with changeable lenses that I carried around from place to place, even when traveling. I wanted a compact camera that could do more than point and shoot (after all, that's what smart phones are for). This camera has a quality view finder and a high quality lens that zooms in to 75mm. I also loved how you can set the aspect ratio from a switch on the lens. I like to change depth of field and take many different kinds of landscape shots, and this camera does a great job of that. The included flash is a nice touch, and it does sync with the shutter and subtly fills in shadows on faces without looking like the flash was on. I know people go on and on about the size of megapixels on cameras, but the image quality is excellent on a camera this small. It's an optical zoom, so images are beautiful when zoomed in. I like that the controls are reminiscent of the film cameras I used to have. The menu system is fantastic, too, for changing profiles and going from color to monochrome. This is my second foray into photography, and this camera gives me the portability and image quality and build quality that I wanted.

Quality Control Problems
The first one I ordered does not charge when plugged in with usb-c. I ordered a second one, and it has the same problem. I think there needs to be some better quality checks on these cameras. I suspect it may be refurbished.

After a month on the road with this camera I couldn’t be happier!
Great everyday carry. Solid Leica camera & software. Don ‘t let 17 MP sensor dissuade you-this lens/sensor package is delightful!

Very nice
Camera takes great photos. Perfect size for everyday carry. If you're not making billboards, the 17 mp's are plenty. Careful who you buy from. I see some people have put the price up to $2500 for a $1600 camera. I wouldn't pay $2500 for it. There are far better options for that price. For $1600 you're getting what you pay for.

Not bad for $1600, a total ripoff for anything more than that.
This is a great camera if you can find it for the already expensive $1600.00. Image quality is nice and the build is solid, but if you are paying a penny over $1600 for it, you are getting ripped off as it is in no way worth any more than that. Plenty of other options to choose from at any price other than that. Don't fall for the price gouging.
