I love this solar set up. So far I've had opportunities to use it in varrying conditions and it hasn't failed me yet. I purchased this to replace a solar/battery bank system. It's worth every penny and it's about the same size as a clipboard. Super easy to set up and use. I've used it with both devices and battery banks. It's a very fast charge and I've even been able to charge on a cloudy day. So far it's worked well during the summer time without overheating as long as you keep the panels away from the device being charged. I had originally hung out from my tent in full sun and used the pouch to hold my device and came back to it almost cooked. If you set it up with it's stand though the problem is entirely mitigated.

Just got back from a 5 day off-grid canoeing trip and this device came in handy. We used it to recharge a spare battery pack each evening after making camp. Even with just a few hours of sunshine, it did a good job of topping off the battery which we then used with a phone and to recharge camera batteries, as needed. The pocket on the back was useful for holding the battery (or a phone) and keeping it out of the direct sunlight. Knowing it was waterproof was a nice feature given that there was good chance of things getting wet at some point on the trip. Well made, easy to use, does what it said it would do.

Nice product for charging phones, rechargeable flashlights, etc. I like its ease of use, size, weight and durability. I'm undecided about its water resistance as I haven't gotten it wet yet. I'm giving it 4 stars because it seemed to take a little longer to charge in full sun than I thought it would. It took 2 hrs to charge my phone from 30% to 100%.

It really does charge! Fast, powerful.

Perfect for solar charging your cellphone. I use it my car @ work, just unfold it plug in my usb charging cord lay it on the dash in the sun & instantly my phone recognizes it & starts charging. It depends on the intensity of the sun of course but it really does work. It’s well made & doesn’t feel like cheap junk when you’re using it. I liked it so much that I bought another one. IMHO a great item!

For the price, this is a great gadget to have. In direct sunlight, you can get up to 15W per USB outlet, of which there are 2. I've used it to charge up my phone, and some battery packs. Even through a window, you can get a few watts which is better than nothing. I like how it folds up and could fit in a backpack. You could keep one under a car seat for emergencies. I kind of wish they offered a more muted color, or black, since it sticks out like a sore thumb in my window/yard. I got some USB watt meters so I can see in real-time how to best position the panel to get maximum power. One of my battery packs has a built-in meter too. I'd recommend getting a USB power meter if you get this, it really helps.

This was delivered quickly. Works very well. Lightweight & very portable, I purchased it for camping & kayaking. I’m about to be off grid for 10 days with a variety of devices & I’m hoping this will fulfill my power needs.

I ordered the 30 W and its a slow charge. For reference, it's March in the Northeast, with partly sunny skies and just a thin layer of clouds. It is charging my Fire table but won't charger my Anker tower that I have for emergencies. It's really slow to charge the portable charger as well. Took at few hours to get to 20% I bought it for about $40 but I wish I had bought the highest W that there was. The extra $100 would have been able to charge faster and would have been able to juice my tower. The fold out is nice, its well done. I Keep it in the box so it doesn't get ruined.
