It just works, the screw is a bit fiddley but very secure. Fast and reliable. The USB cable is handy too. Note this will not work with SATA M.2 drives, gen 3, 4 or 5 will work fine. Bargain.

A great quality enclosure which made repurposing an SSD a breeze. It's a well made and easy to assemble enclosure. I've bought several other UGREEN tech items recently and they all are excellent value for money.

Simple to set up and use. Not tested for speed but works well on my macbook air.

My motherboard only has one NVME slot and as I have just added a larger NVME stick I now have a 1TB NVME doing nothing so this enclosure is rather useful. Installation is simple, though it is not a tool-free installation as advertised on the store page as you do require a screwdriver (supplied). Simply unscrew the small screw on the enclosure and slide out the main section, then install your NVME stick and screw it into place. There is also a thermal pad to attach to the NVME stick which is supposed to assist with dissipating heat but I still noticed that the enclosure got quite warm under load. Using the supplied cable (with a USB-C to A adapter) I had quite disappointing transfer speeds (40MB/sec). I'm not sure if this was the adapter causing the issue or the cable itself. However, when I switched to another cable that did not need an adapter my file copy speeds increased to around 500MB/sec. I am fairly confidident the cable used is capable of faster speeds so I would suggest the speeds are not quite up to those advertised. Even though my transfer speeds are far below what the NVME can do I am still quite happy with it as it still provides SSD copy speeds which will be fast enough for my purposes.

Very good quality item for using an NVMe SSD card as an external device. Light, but sturdy and fitting the NVMe is easy to do. Heat levels seem fine and transfer rates are good. Nice colour to blend in with most other items.

Works wonderfully as described

Doesn't work anymore, when I got chance to use it 1st time. It detected the ssd once. I was able to see the contents. However when I tried to use it 2nd time same day it stopped working. I have tried to resit ssd several time but it's not more working.

Come with a thermal sticker and a PH00 screwdriver. saves time on getting parts.

Works great! Compatible with nvme ssd drives not sata m.2 - But I knew that. Easy for me to clone, erase and format my all of nvme drives without having to open my pc.

Das Gehäuse macht einen guten Eindruck und ist für meine NVMe SSD sehr praktisch. Der Einbau war einfach, man braucht nicht viel Werkzeug und alles ist eigentlich schnell fertig. Die Übertragungsgeschwindigkeit ist für mich gut, ich benutze es hauptsächlich für Backup und größere Dateien. Das Gehäuse wird bei längere Benutzung etwas warm, aber nicht schlimm. Es fühlt sich auch stabil an und sieht ordentlich aus.
