It is very easy to open and remove the AirPods but it is designed to remain locked unless I want it to open

I am very happy with this locking case. I can say it works very well to keep your AirPods INSIDE the case. I happened to drop my AirPods from ~3 feet up and they rolled about 5 feet away from me. The lid didn’t even crack open. The case only had a few scuffs on it, brushed it off and threw it back in my pocket. I think the magnet and the locking mechanism working together actually helps to keep the lid closed even better. The lock makes it a little less efficient and satisfying to open the case as the mechanism makes it harder to open with one hand, but I don’t think that’s a problem considering it keeps your AirPods from falling out. Overall I would recommend this case for your AirPods especially if you have butter fingers.

The case is very solid and well built. While I haven’t tested it for drops, I’m sure it would protect everything. The MagSafe works great, the design of the opening mechanism is strong yet easy, everything necessary is visible but protected. I would highly recommend this case. It’s over-engineered so it should never have a problem. Includes a nice carabiner too! 10 Stars if possible!

Great quality. Easy to install and pretty straight-forward. Wireless charging works without a hitch. Feels and seems sturdy. A bit bulky, but it's a small trade off for protecting my AirPods. I used to have AirPods Pro 2 and every time I dropped them/fell off my night table, earbuds went all over the place. Not with this case. Plus, I picked the blue one, and perfectly matches with my iPhone and case color.

This AirPods 4 case provides excellent protection with the bumpers in addition to the magnetic closure which keeps it from accidentally opening during use. Even the switch that opens the top lid works flawlessly. The fitment of the case is perfect on the AirPods 4.
