Take a swing at it. You will be pleased.
Super comfortable and well-formed grip. The blade is thick enough to minimize flexing but light enough to allow more than casual use. I have smaller and larger Kukris and the subtle curvature as well as what I consider to have the best balance and heft in my tool stash make this my go to choice for tree work with any objective under about 20mm or ~3/4" diameter. If I had the need to go bushwhacking in the rainforest This would be my first choice from among the 4 or 5 options I have available. Mine came sharp enough to curl paper and cut bush without being too sharp to trust to a responsible teenaged adventurer. The best value I have found for a practical Kukri Machete. Very well built.

Absolutely awesome for the price. Non slip, rubbery grip handle, nice thick blade.

Good Blade, cheap case
The blade is good. Sharp as it needs to be and holds an edge well enough. The machete is weighted well. My only complaint would be with the holster it comes with. it fell apart while at my side and the blade fell out, could have been an issue had it landed poorly on something fleshy.

Great 4 the money
Worlds better than a sharp stick ! I keep it handy for around the property. Processing, Trimming, Pruning & dispatching. I was given 2 & bought 2 for gifts. Great for the money.

Great and versitile
I have been using this machete to clear a path through tough scrub oak. The problem is that the brush is tough, and varies in size from 1/4 to 1 inch. I had been using my nice old reliable tools, the heavier blades worked fine on the thicker stuff, the lighter blades generated enough speed for the thinner branches. None worked well for both. This machete hit the sweet spot. The geomerty and weight are just right. It is heavy enough to tackle the thicker branches, and light enough to be able to get good blade speed for the lighter stuff. The metal has held up well, and the handle is comfortable enough. Highly reccomended all around tool.

Being a fan of knives, I love this. I have other straiht blade machetes, but the curve of of this blade makes it feels more ergonomic.
