Walt Disney Christmas

This was a great nostalgic buy, me and my wife both enjoyed watching this with our 3 year old. It was even more enjoyable watching it on the old VCR and having my son ask “ what is that!”

I grew up watching this video when I was younger, I never knew what the title was but I watched it EVERY Christmas with my family. It is a timeless classic that I will treasure for the rest of my life. In classic Disney format the cartoons are family friend and display scenarios that will appeal to all ages. I recommend this for any family that loves classic Christmas stories!

I used to watch this at my grandparents every christmas, and even at 23 I still think its not christmas without it. But to be more discriptive for every one it is a bunch of christmas shorts, mickey mouse ice skating, night before christmas. All so festive and awesome!

The Walt Disney Christmas is a wonderful set of animations including some favorite characters such as Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, Pluto, Chip and Dale, plus Santa. The stories are all fun and lively. Burned into my memory is an automatic response to hearing OK, namely "a cake of soap, a cake of soap" from Santa's Workshop. The first show, Once Upon a Wintertime, is cleverly done, with young love's ups and downs mirrored in some animals, and the animals saving the day, all while the music fits very well with the actions and moods.I owned a copy of this videotape 2 decades ago, and watched it with my kids many times. My two beefs are:1. The coloring of the first one, Once Upon a Winter Time, is way too dark. Some of the darker regions are essentially black, not at all reasonable.I had lost the first copy, so when I bought a second copy about 12 years ago, I was somewhat dismayed that the new one had been censored: A scene in Santa's Workshop that had Santa watching dollies come off the line showed each one turning and saying "Mama!" When a black dollie came down, she said "Mammy!" in a more dramatic fashion. Santa laughed heartily. Beef #2: Well, in the second one I bought, the black dollie said something else, and in the most recent one, that whole dollie section is missing. I object to this attempt to change things just because they don't conform to today's standards. That is like the attempt to make Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn into politically-correct stories: use it as a teachable moment to talk about stereotypes, etc., but don't pretend such things never existed.

Another Awesome Christmas Cartoon that I watched when I was a child and I'm so glad that I have this movie on video to own. It's Awesome to watch for an Christmas in July and in December every year!!!:)

Ordered VHS and it’s missing two cartoons which are listed on packaging. Appears to be a recording on vhs. Poor quality. Don’t buy. I will be returning product. Was hoping for my children to enjoy the nostalgia but this was a huge fail.

I grew up on this movie and wanted my son to as well which I why I bought it. It is missing some parts that originally were on there.

This is the funnest Christmas collection i have ever had the joy of watching. its one of my best childhood christmas memories. i would give anything if Disney would re-release this on dvd for a new generation of families to enjoy.

Was so excited when I got this in the mail! Watched it right away. Perfect condition

I had this video as a child and it somehow got lost over the years. I didn't want to risk buying a used copy that may be of poor quality so I opted to buy a brand new one and was not disappointed. The box was immaculate and VHS still wrapped. Delighted with these old classics.

This is a lovely video to watch with your children, when you've had enough of the action, fast paced disney cartoons that are out there. Beautiful, old fashioned stories. The younger children in your family will love this video.

Please please please put this onto a DVD best Christmas stories ever. My nieces and nephews watch it in the summer but we have to have it on at Christmas even my dad used to love it.
