The best laptop I have EVER owned!
I originally bought a Zenbook S14 but had to return it as it didn’t support 3 external monitors. As a trader, this is a non-negotiable requirement. I was gutted as it was as sensational piece of kit. So instead, I bought a Dell XPS 9440 - and regretted it the minute it arrived: bang average OLED, rubbish battery and 2kg! A very capable laptop however I’m not into weightlifting and so, that was also returned.After many hours of research and to my delight, discovering that the Ryzen S16 would indeed support 3 monitors, I instantly bought it. I can genuinely say that this laptop is THE best I have ever owned. Looks aren’t everything but my word, it’s pretty. Flip it open and you’re blown away by the gorgeous OLED - everything just pops. And then you have the speakers - yeah, wow! I’ve no idea how they’ve done it.But the 10/10 with this laptop is the battery life. I’ve owned it for over a month and I am getting around 11hrs of use: simultaneous browsing, data modelling, YouTube, VMs and some coding. And then when you need to recharge, it’s back to 100% in little over an hour. That is just insane. I haven’t even mentioned how thin, cool and quiet it is too. Very rarely do I slightly hear the fan and only if I’m really punishing it.I paid £1,399 in March 2025 and I don’t regret a penny of it. In fact I can’t believe I own such an amazing piece of technology for what I think is very fair money.
