Really Good Lighting, easy to setup and screen sync effects are just magnificent

These lights are really a game changer of aesthetics. Effects are really nice. Sync feature is what makes your setup stand out from the rest. Installation is also easy hardly takes 15 mins. I had some trouble when the software didn't detect the led but after contacting their support they provided me the updated software and it worked like charm. Colors are good but some colurs like teal is noy very accurate it glows whitish green. However you wont notice much when enjoying the content like movies or YouTube. Keep in mind that it would reduce a little performance While gaming. It reduced 20-23 fps when in was playing hellblade while on sync. Other than that its a great product for the given price.

Please check the RGB pins properly before installing. The product I received had a bent pin and even after connecting to my pc and power the strip did not light up completely. I downloaded the software to check if it was on different mode but turns out the software cant even detect the led. Please avoid and go for some other brand

I'd like to point out that Mitsuko repeatedly contacted me to ask for a review, which was quite annoying. I didn't want to leave one until I'd used this for a while and formed a proper opinion of it, so here you go, here is my honest review. INSTALLATION & SETUP: Good quality LEDs with adhesive backing - setting them up was easy but I did need to look up a random youtube video. All it needs is a USB connection to your PC, I'm not using any additional power input. (When asked in the software how you laid out the LEDs, bottom-right is referring to bottom right as seen from the front of the monitor, not the back). USAGE: Most of the built in modes are quite janky and I don't like using them. The Dynamic modes, barring one or two settings, are quite tacky and I don't use them. The Pickup modes react to your audio but I found them to be a bit too sensitive and flicker like crazy. The only good setting, and the reason most you will get this, is the Sync mode which reacts to what is on your screen. This is a genuinely good setting and makes games and media feel immersive, so it is arguably worth it for this feature alone (no HDMI passthrough needed). THE ISSUES: Every single day I've used this, I've run into the same issue with the software - it just stops working properly until you reset it. Basically, if you're in Dynamic or Pickup mode, the settings you've chosen (speed, color, etc.) will at random go back to default, so you need to set it again. If you're in Sync mode, the sync speed becomes ABYSMALLY slow to the point where the refresh rate is something like 2fps. I have no idea why this happens, but expect it to occur every 3-4 hours if you use your PC for long sessions like I do. It also uses around 4-5% of your CPU so expect a minor performance hit if you're on a lower end computer - I have a Ryzen 7 5700x3D so it hasn't been an issue so far. I'm on Windows 11. Have not tested this on a Mac. CONCLUSION: A promising product that is great when it works right, but is held back by poor software which frequently needs to be reset in order to work as intended, and also uses a small chunk of system resources. I hope they make a better, updated version of this as it is otherwise a great product. There aren't many other options out there that do this without HDMI passthrough.

This is one of the best RgbIC light strips....!! The installation is pretty simple and the software is minimalistic and easy to use.....the synchronisation is on point ...!! The adhesive is good ....also the independent controller functions properly..!!
