I read reviews, watched videos and decided from what I saw that this product would probably work best for me. By "best for me" I mean I planned to take it with me in a day/backpack on day hikes or when riding my bike and use it to take selfies without having to have someone else there to take the photo. I am not a content creator, but I can see how this product might work well for that kind of use. I had three concerns. The first was how easily it would expand and fold back up. I've done this several times now and it works better than I expected. It expands and folds back up easily and pretty quickly. My second concern was how well it would hold my phone, and if I'd have to remove the phone cover for it to hold well. It holds well with the phone cover on. Not so sure it would work well with an actual heavier camera instead of a smartphone, but for my Pixel 9 pro it works great. My third concern was that the remote goes into a slot and is held in with a magnet. I was pretty sure it would be able to shake loose and possibly lose the remote. However, I have tried really hard to shake it loose and it holds the remote in its slot just fine. It takes a deliberate effort to take the remote out of the slot, and it isn't difficult to do so either. BTW, my phone had no problem finding the bluetooth connection to the remote and the remote worked just fine. Just a note. To turn the remote on hold down the button for 3 seconds to get it out of "sleep mode". I did see in one video they cautioned about pushing the tripod release button with your hands. I don't believe this is really an issue. If you push the button, you expect the tripod legs to expand. Unless you are generally careless, the release of the tripod legs shouldn't be an issue. My only caution is don't press the button anywahere near your face, especially your eyes. Only push the button when you are holding it a (safe) distance from your face and/or body. It is common sense safety. I have not tried to use the tripod when there was any kind of wind, so I don't know how steady it will hold in windy conditions. For the price ($20) this is a great product!

Best tripod I've purchased for my phone yet! This is compact when not in use, squishes down into a small section when not in use, and to open it, you tap on the floor or table-top surface and it begins to expand easily. You can easily change the height or angle of the part that holds your phone, and the Bluetooth remote to control your phone easily connects to your device. Great value for what I paid, and it's easily thrown into my backpack for a press trip or accessible for home photo shoots. Also makes a great selfie stick! Multipurpose tool that I'd buy again for my business.

This is the nicest selfie stick I have found! It’s very nice and functional. I love how the tripod opens up so easily! It holds your phone very tightly and the grip is good and easy to install your phone to it. I like that I can adjust the tripod to many different height!s! The Bluetooth remote works great.It’s really good and very sturdy and at a very good price! I’m very happy with my purchase!

Bought as a gift but thoroughly inspected and tested prior to giving. This selfie stick is everything! My brother travels regularly with his family. Only one parent is in a multitude of family photos because the other is taking the picture. I bought this for them so that they could get full beautiful family photos while exploring the country. My sister-in-law just used it for their family trip to the Outer Banks. She used it as a selfie stick as well as a tripod on multiple surfaces. One of the days, it was a bit windy and she worried about it falling over. She tested it before walking away and it was solid, swayed a bit but not much. Even in the sand, this baby didn't fall over. The full family pictures and videos came out fabulous!!! She had no issues with the remote, it functioned well and stayed in place on the stick when in her purse. This is a quality product and I now purchased one for myself.

I brought this tripod/selfie stick for a solo trip and it has been about 2 months since I have worked with this product. There wasn't much difficulties in syncing up the device with my smartphone and it worked like a charm once everything was set up. However I did notice a few issues that were bearable in my opinion: if you turn your phone to the landscape mode (sideways instead of upright), the part where it holds the phone does tilt a bit if your phone isn't exactly centered. There were some times in which I wanted to tilt my phone upwards or downwards to capture more details and the added weight of the not-centered phone would further tilt your photos. Additionally, if the ground was uneven, this would further emphasis this in the pictures. This is probably a no-brainer, but the tripod itself is kind-of light ("travel-friendly"), but if you were to extend the tripod to it's full height in an exposed environment where is it windy, it is very prone to being blown over as the base is very light. You can fix this problem but not using this in windy, unstable conditions or to keep your bookbag or something heavy at the base to weigh it down. Last of all, while the remote device works wells in close proximity, the further you get away from the base (even just a few feet), the slower it would take the device to react. I have tried to "long-press" the button when I was away from the base, but it doesn't always work. Just to be on the safe side, it might do you good to press the remote button a few times for one pose, especially if it's a busy area and there isn't any time for you to repeat that photo op again. I also found that have the remote continuously "on" will interfere with taking later photos (as in it just stopped syncing with my smartphone), so while it's slightly time consuming, turn the remote device off when the tripod is not in use. All-in-all, while there are a few hiccups, I do find the tripod very friendly to use and I look forward to using it in my future trips.

Really nice design and cool engineering on the base which pops open when you touch the ground with it (just beware of pinched fingers when closing. The fob paired easily with my iPhone and sits securely in its spot at the base of the stand. Very easy to travel with and has come in handy several times to take family and group shots.

Oggetto ben fatto, materiale solido, i tre piedi sono belli larghi stabili e antiscivolo. Bella rotazione a 360 gradi molto comoda. Apertura semplicissima ma la cosa più bella è il comando usb ricaricabile. È arrivato già carico e funziona alla perfezione anche da lontano tipo 10 metri, dotato del suo cavetto usb. Il collegamento al telefono è velocissimo e semplice non c'è neanche bisogno di leggere le istruzioni. Arrivato imballato bene e con cura. Sono molto contenta dell'acquisto.

Used this on our trip to Europe and it worked great. I had a Google Pixel 7 pro and this stick held it securely. The remote worked great also. Highly recommend it.
