Good quality and design. Bought as extra padding under a small thick pad. Folds easy and gives us a bit more comfort if we sit inside the play area with our toddler. Wouldn't keep it alone since it's thickness also makes it a bit harder if a child falls on it. Folds easy and can be stored away if needed.

This mat works so well. It is the perfect size and our grandson loves playing on it. There isn’t any smell to it. It folds up very easily. It is very easy to open up and plop on the floor. You can spray A cleaner on it if you want to easily clean it. I like that it just seems cleaner than having the baby being on the floor. You can also just drag it to the corner of the room with all of the toys on it if you want to get it maybe out of the center of the room. Or drag it from room to room. It mutes the sound of blocks or toys banging on the floor which is good when dad is working the the other room. It is also softer than the wood floor, which helps for the occasional baby topple over. Toys roll easily on it. It has been great for when he was just starting to sit up through the crawling stage to the walking stage. I also love the designs on the mat. I would definitely recommend this mat.

I have a small living room so this play mat was the perfect size for my area. My floors are hard wood and my baby was bumping his head a lot when he was playing so this has provided him a safe area to play. It’s light weight and can be easily folded up to put away, it’s durable and soft.

Easy to clean and okay thickness

*Updated* After leaving initial review, the seller reached out to me. They have great customer service. They sent me a new mat that was 3 times thicker than this one. If you want something thick and plush, definitely order thicker than 0.4. They quality of this thicker mat is much better and the edges are sewn with a thick nylon material. It will hold up much better than the original mat I purchased.This is play mat is very thin and not all the same thickness throughout. It’s very thin around the edges and in repeating squares (I’m assuming do it will fold up small for shipping). It feels cheap and I think it will rip easy once my baby starts walking and drags toys across it. I’m too lazy to return but I wish I did.

Perfect fit for my playpen. Adds softness over a hard wood floor

This matt seems thinner then I had anticipated (even after reviewing the specs), so it's probably not the thickness it's the issue but it just doesn't seem that padded. It's great to add as a secondary pad maybe under something or over another pad but probably wouldn't recommend this as a complete solution from turning a hard floor into a floor meant for our baby to roll around on. We put it in our daughter's playpen so it adds some extra padding to the padded bottom of the pen cell she's able to crawl around in this and we know it's padded enough with two separate mats. Seems pretty durable, ours hasn't received any signs of wear, the color is nice and subtle, and it's pretty comfortable and provides enough protection, but again only as a secondary or additional pad.
