Awful quality control
So I originally bought a second hand model which turned out to be faulty but primarily due to age so decided to buy the new model. I have just put in a return request for the second replacement. The first, I couldn't even get out of its 45o position as the blade was forced against the plastic surround. Inspection revealed the panel underneath was bent and badly fitted. The second return,. similar problem the plastic surround wouldn't fit in because the same panel underneath was completely incorrectly fitted and lose, the screws hadn't even been tightened to hold it in place. The polystyrene packaging was damaged in several places as if someone just rammed the saw and instructions into the box, causing cracks and breakages. Appalling quality control from Einhell unfortunately will have to look elsewhere.

Defective blade tensioning.
Really poorly built. The blade tensioning screw did nothing to tension the blade. I note I'm not the only one to experience this. Instructions were incorrect. No trouble shooting section. When used the blade wandered all over the place as I couldn't tighten the tension. Sent back for a refund. Don't waste your money on this even if discounted.
