Very good laptop for the money.
Setup was very easy. Able to move my old data here and get going. Love the touchscreen and it’s fast for what I use it for. The battery lasts a long time which allows mobility. The exterior is sleek and the numerical keypad is very nice. It is a bit heavy, and of course since a it’s 17”, it’s pretty big but fit into my laptop backpack easily. No complaints.

Undisclosed refurbished-
Computer started crashing 8 months after we bought it, right at the 1 year mark gave us a disl error, brought it to Geeksquad, they said computer was not brand new it was opened/ refurbished such a processor does nto handle 32G ram so it cant keep up with it making it crash. HP VERIFIED this model comes with a max of 16g and because it was open it is not longer covered by the warranty. New ram cost almost what a new computer cost. Be aware this company may sale you refurbished computers undisclosed

Good computer for the price
I just needed a basic laptop for work and I wanted a reasonably sized screen so I could see it better (I’m old.) The touchscreen was just a cool extra. When it arrived I was shocked at how big the screen really is. I love it but it’s definitely not convenient for transporting. But that’s on me.

Frequent Shut Downs
While this laptop mostly performs as expected, it runs into an issue at least once a week. I get an alert that 'something has gone wrong' and the laptop shuts down. If this happened occasionally, it wouldn't be a big deal, but sometimes it happens every day for a few days in a row. Very frustrating. This issue happened a few weeks after I made this purchase and at the time, I didn't think much of it. But over time, it has gotten increasingly worse. Very frustrating. I have not loaded a bunch of software that would cause this issue. I'm am adding additional comments as the shutdown issue has become increasingly worse. This is especially frustrating when on a Zoom meeting or when I'm in the middle of a project. I would NOT purchase any HP equipment as this is my second HP laptop and the previous one had similar issues. I also had problems with the hinge breaking. I will never purchase another HP product again. Disappointing as I really like the large touch screen.
