Excellent product. Very very fast reading and writing speed. Small and compact. Easy to carry anywhere. One con is that the default format in which the product came was not read by my smart TV. I had to format it into NTFS, only then was the TV able to read it.

Small, compatible, sturdy and fast. This ssd is value for money and will give a write speed of about 400 MBps when connected to ps5. Got a c to a cable in the box and a a to c converter which is very thoughtful. I transferred 322 GB worth of Ps5 games, write speeds are about 450 MBps for first 200 GBs and then about 150 MBps from 200 to 320 GB. These speeds are significantly better than crucial ssd speeds for the same amount of data.

It has suited me as per my expectation. Data storing is lightning fast. As I have an OTG enabled mobile fone, I can access my Kinngston SSD drive in it. I can store and read data to and from my fone itself. Thank you Amazon for such lovely product at such affordable price

First Impression of Kingston XS1000 was not good , as i made some mistakes and i nearly returned it may regret later afterwards ! What i did was that i connected the ssd to my computer with its original PD C to C cable and , the speeds were 40mbps , 4% of actual speeds , images of speed tests are uploaded to my review ! Then i went furious and called amazon CS and returned it , in the meantime when the Customer support guy made me on hold i researched a bit and found out macbook OEM charging cable is not designed for fast data transfers , and then tried the gear that was provided in the box , USB to Type c cable and and a USB to Type C convertor dongle , and when i plugged that did the speed tests . It was insane , im getting promised speeds and data transfer speeds also remain fast as well ! So i did order a Thunderbolt 4 cable but it didnt arrive yet , as of writing this review , so what i hyave learnt that either if you are planning to buy this SSD , spend some money to get a fas data transfer cable for your workflow or use the cable provided in box ! Q :- What i got in box ? SSD , Type A / USB to Type C cable , USB to Type C convertor Q :- Build Quality of the SSD ? SSD is build of 3 seperate parts , 2 are metal plates that are up and bottom one and centre part is made of plastic but good quality plastic , its lightweight and Sturdy in terms of build ! Q:- Data Transfers and Speeds ? Brand promises speeds of around 1000mbps for both read and write and their claims are strong asit did perform well Q :- Does it heat ? Yes , It did get warm on such occasions but i’ll not it heat up a lot , mild warm but not much of issue , let’s see how it holds up in long run Q :- Is it worth it ? Remember i’ve spend around 12k on this 2TB XS1000 Variant and i’m getting 5 Years of warranty , so is it worth ? Hell Yeah !!! Overall Review and Conclusion :- See Kinston as a brand which was kinda new to me , and i’ve bought this Storage expansion drive on basis of reviews and it’s price because first of all i was looking for a SSD that is reliable and my data should be safe in it ! And i was looking at Samsung T7 and T9 , one costs around 11k and 14k simultaniously , and that too for 1TB variants and mac doesnt supports 2000mbps speeds with 3x2gen2 ports , and also they were providing only 3 Years of warranty , same as the case with Crucial , Sandisk and WD , thats why with the budget in mind i shortlisted two brands :- EVM elite ssd and Kingston SSD XS1000 , and i glad i chose Kinsgton , its :- -Lightweight -Comes iwth All neccesory cables and adptors - has a sturdy build - Value for money - Reliable Speeds I have attached all the photos related to this products , size comparisons , data transfres speeds , and other elements !

It's compact. It's light. And it stores actually 2TB. Write Speed is definitely faster than an HDD but not as good as advertised. I remember it took around Half an Hour to transfer around 400gbs from a Hard Drive. But that could also be because of the HDDs slow speed. No Connectivity issues at all.

I just opened the box and the SSD Drive does not show up on my Macbook or my friends Macbook. It is brand new and does not work. Kindly replace this item.

Very good ssd ..

Its light and compact. Its well built. It perform very well though there are better ones. It looks great and its handy. It replaced both my pendrive and my external drive. Good for backing up from my phone too. The price is OK though not great.

Se trata de un disco duro sólido externo (SSD) de la marca Kinston, concretamente el modelo XS1000 de 2 TB de capacidad. El disco presenta una correcta calidad de fabricación. Es compacto y ligero, tiene un tamaño de 70 x 30 x 13 mm y un peso de tan solo 328 gramos, por lo que ocupa muy poco espacio y resulta fácil de transportar :) La carcasa es de aleación de aluminio, lo que hace que el disco sea bastante resistente y lo que es más importante, ayuda a disipar mejor el calor. Es compatible con Windows, MacOS, Android, Linux, IOS y consolas de juegos PlayStation y Xbox. Tras pasarle el programa CrystalDiskMark, arroja los siguientes resultados: - SEQ1M Q8T1: Lectura 1001,32 MB/s - Escritura 926,38 MB/s - SEQ1M Q1T1: Lectura 818,30 MB/s - Escritura: 865,77 MB/s - RND4K Q32T16: Lectura 155,57 MB/s - Escritura 208,86 MB/s - RND4K Q1T1: Lectura 29,21 MB/s - Escritura 43,51 MB/s En definitiva: un disco SSD externo con unas buenas especificaciones y una excelente velocidad. La verdad es que me ha gustado bastante y la única pega que puedo ponerle, es el diseño, que no me ha convencido. En cualquier caso, por mi parte, he quedado bastante satisfecho con él. Excellent items

Me dedico al área de la edición y la verdad es una super buena opción para guardar archivos pesados como fotografías y videos, además que su velocidad de lectura lo hace super práctico al momento de transferir los archivos. Pasé alrededor de 500 fotografías y videos de mi cámara y no duré ni 5 minutos. Además de que no requiere mucho espacio ya que es muy pequeño, por lo que es portable. El producto es de excelente calidad, además viene con un adaptador. En cuanto a lo estético, me agrada que sea minimalista y el color negro mate siento que es muy precioso
