Air intake Compatible with Foucs 2.0 2.0L Non Turbo + Filter Box Heat Shield

So I’ll start out saying this is by far the best value cold air intake out there. Let’s be real here the K&N is nice, but you’re paying for the name. There’s no need to spend $300+ on an upgrade part that gives maybe 10hp.For the price I’m very happy. I am a novice mechanic with little knowledge on how to work on my own vehicle. So with that in mind this was a challenge. The directions are absolute trash, almost to the point of being worthless. The direction pictures do not correlate with the position the device is installed in the car. They hand you a bag of misellenious screws, washers, and nuts of different sizes. And whenever you’re supposed to screw something together or bolt something down the directions just say “use the provided hardware”. Really?? You don’t say?! Label the screws and hardware you need in each picture, the whole installation is guess and check. They should have taken a page out of the ikea furniture manual and had pictures of all the hardware with corresponding pictures of each piece looks like.For the sound and performance I’ll have to write another review. The sound is awesome, more burbles when you let off the gas. I have a borla muffler and cat delete on my car, kind of hard to differentiate the added sound that this device gives off. But definitely more burbles when the car shifts, really love that sound!!!So, if I can install this in my car, then anyone can. I would recommend this product for sure, plus it looks cool as hell when it’s all installed. I installed the little heat shield over the air filter because it was included and i think it looks pretty good on it as well

I was able to make this procuct work, but I was sent the wrong intake tube, not the right shape or size. Instructions called for a 90degree fixture that was not included. If I had the parts they said to install I would be giving 5 stars because it has a nice sound and considerably more pick up. I would be really happy if the correct parts would be sent to me so I can put it together it's supposed to be.

First and foremost the directions are lacking in detail and comprehension. I was able to find a YouTube video of a similar product and the install was very similar. The struggle is installing it but as an intake it’s the bomb. Great engine noise and my car feels like it’s begging for me to put my foot down. My car feels like it can finally breathe

Same kit as the K&N. So watch the K&N install video and it will walk you through the install step by step. Kit came with extra hardware which is a little confusing. Instructions are crap.

I bought this for my focus because I read a review that changed my way of thinking about the K&N exact same kit Just without the label so it satisfied just like intended no need in spending almost 400 bucks on a pieces just because they got labels and known names. The installation was step by step instructions are very confusing the flat head screw that mounts the heat box down is actually made to be to long you can either saw it down or I found it easier to use the medal rings they gave that they don’t tell you where to put in any of the instructions (btw I’m not a mechanic what so ever zero knowledge of cars). So everything was pretty easy to install I was stuck on that flat screw for hours thinking they left a piece out til I watched a video saying it was in fact to long. When I hooked everything back up crunk the car I could hear a little rumbling difference (good rumble) Then I took it out to the road an that’s when I noticed the real difference fully satisfied and would buy again

The instructions are pretty bad but I managed to figure it out. Everything lined up properly and worked great. The new sound is awesome and a noticeable amount of power increase. It’s basically a spitting image of K&N CAI for the focus.
