Great Affordable Watch Display With Extra Storage For Other Things
I have read the other reviews. The one guy is talking about having to sand down an unfinished surface. This is just not true. This is a laminated MDF style wood. You can't sand it or you wood underneath would be showing. It did however come with a pasty white substance on the sides and top that I had to easily wipe off with a damp cloth. Listen folks this case is less than $40 and you can't expect an amazing work of art. For those of us that just need a place to put our watches this thing is quite nice for the money spend. I love that it displays them in a way that you can see them without opening the lid. Its well thought out with somewhat of a secret compartment in the back that they say holds glasses but it can hold a lot of different things (Mine holds knives). The bottom drawer the dividers can be removed if need be. The front glass (plastic maybe) door is very thin and lightweight. If you are easy with your stuff it'll be fine but if you are rough you will most likely break it. There are things I would change but then the case would cost more soooo which do we want? I would have like to see and it should cost more the watch holders able to slide out of slots just like the dividers in the bottom drawer does. This way I could slide it out partially and see what I'm doing when I place the watch on or take it off the post. All in all its well worth the money and a nice storage for those that take care of their belongings. I would like to see a couple changes even if it added a few dollars more.Would buy again.

I recieved in peices...
The front plastic window was not attached in mines. Bad manufacturing quality, the staples used broke the plastic, had to used black tape to hold it in place.

Wooden Display Case
This is a great space-saver design and lets you see your watches from wherever you are in the room. The wood and materials, the glass front all look good. It's kind of weird that you have to wrap the watch around them, but for the space saving and the look, it's worth it. The drawer on the bottom and the hidden sunglass stash adds more to this and both slide decently.

Disappointing, poorly made, and overpriced
In the pictures, this looks like a fairly nice-looking lacquered or stained case to sit on your bureau.Unfortunately, at least on mine, it seems like they forgot the lacquer or stain - only the front windowed door looks at all like the picture. The rest of the wood surfaces look and feel like they got sanded, maybe after a pre-stain was applied, but don't look properly finished at all. I haven't decided if I'm going to bother to improve it myself, but out of the box it doesn't look right. Now, for the usability... The bulk of the front is covered by a large glass door, which opens to allow access to several shelves with cylinders on them that hold watches. And, this does work, sort of - except that the cylinders are permanently fixed to the shelves, and the shelves are permanently fixed in the frame. The only way to get the watches onto the cylinders as shown in the pictures is to sort of slide them in and on diagonally over the top, which, while it works, means you can't really fasten and unfasten the watchbands without a great deal of bother. Maybe this isn't a big deal, it just means that the watches all sit kitty-cornered, not nice and neat like in the pictures. The rear sliding vertical drawer, intended for sunglasses, works only if the sunglasses are very flat - that is, any wraparound-style glasses aren't going to come close to fitting. The bottom drawer is, well, a drawer, and you can toss anything small in there, like rings, cufflinks, etc. Nothing wrong there.Honestly, I had much higher hopes for this. It could be so much better, and likely wouldn't add to the manufacturing cost much if at all. Maybe if the watch cylinders fit into a slotted groove so could be removed and replaced? And, if the sunglasses drawer were just a bit deeper? The wood finishing I just don't know, possibly I happened to get a bad one and normally they are better. As it stands though, this isn't worth the price.

Great display case
I really like the way this display case looks. I have several other cases, but they are all the type that open from the top. I like this because you can see the watches without needing to be over top of the case. This case is well made. The door opens and closes easily. There are small magnets that keep it securely closed. The slide out the side drawer for sunglasses is a nice touch. Mine arrived in perfect condition with no flaws and was well packaged to keep it protected. It's a nice size and looks great on my dresser. I'm very satisfied with it and it is a good value for what you get.

Watch and Sunglasses Display Case
I had a watch box display case but it's flat. I love that tis stands upright and I can see all my watches from the entire room. I also really like the hidden sunglasses storage in the back of the box. I do think that it needs a handle for a smoother open as well as the drawer. Overall I still love it and is worth an investment.
