Great staple, approachable cookbook!
I love this cookbook! I tend to collect cookbooks but really wanted this one because I felt like it would be something I’d actually use regularly. It’s also unlike any I have in its approach and appreciate that it’s broken down by time to put together. My only gripe, but not enough to deduct a star, is that you need to have a pretty well stocked fridge and pantry to make some of these recipes (such as red curry paste, fennel bulbs, and garam masala). So, a lot of recipes, even the 15 minute ones, still had me running to the grocery store to get things like ahi or spices. I didn’t mind because I felt like a lot of the things I picked up were ingredients my pantry could use for future recipes but just something keep in mind. That being said, Caroline does give tips at the beginning about how to stock your pantry and freezer so you won’t be far from most of the recipes in the cookbook and I love her approachable writing style. She also gives great saving tips like how to fancify instant ramen and multiple ways to use store bought rotisrrrie chicken. Also, everything I’ve made so far (spiced cauliflower and chickpeas, everything crusted tuna, lemon garlic butter shrimp orzo, and pesto meatballs) has been delicious, easy, and definitely doable when you don’t feel like cooking! I also think I’ll pick up a few for friends and family!

So tasty
This has quickly become one of the heaviest rotation cookbooks in our house! So tasty and easy, recipes are good right off the page and require very little help which I can’t say for all cookbooks
