Patented 5X Large LED Page Magnifier with Detachable Stand | Eye Caring 3 Color Light Modes & Anti-Glare Lens to Reduce Eye Strain-Ideal for Reading Fine Print, Crafting, Low Vision Seniors

Lightweight plastic. Well made, fresnel lens for better and overall focus. It's size is very stable, but does wobble a bit putting it on a large book, like a Bible. Focus is good across the entire fresnel lens and is comfortable and lightweight to hold without the frame. Light brightness is adjustable 3 ways and also works well. Bought this to magnify print in a Bible that is 3 or 4 print size. Price is good. Would buy again and I recommend this.

I am enchanted with this Magnipros LED Page Magnifier with Detachable Stand. I often need a magnifier for reading instructions on food items, especially frozen products. The same holds true for the information on pharmacy purchases. This magnifier solves the situation with the perfect rectangular shape and a hands-free stand. It is light-weight, comes with three different levels of brightness, and provides a cleaning pouch to protect it when not in use and to remove smudges. It goes without mention that it can help with reading and embroidery as well.

Overall, this is great. I can read paperwork, bank statements, credit card statements, applications, and books with it. The magnification is great! It's light and easy to move and has a nice little carry bag. I haven't tried it with the lights yet as I don't have batteries. The stand is very handy and easy to adjust according to preference. The reasons for taking a star off are: 1. If you don't hold the papers or books flat and parallel to the magnifier there can be some distortion. It would be a better if there was a plastic holder to put the reading material on that is attached to the stand so then the magnifier could be positioned parallel to it. 2. There is some glare off the lens. This can be bothersome, especially for people with cataracts. 3. The size is about an inch too small. I wish the whole stand and magnifier were and inch wider so as to be able to easily read an 8-1/2 x 11 paper. As it is I have to bend the paper and that causes some distortion and extra moving side to side that is distracting when reading. I wouldn't mind it nearly twice as wide as it is for reading magazines and 8-1/2 x 11 books/manuals without have to reposition constantly. That would help will filling out forms, such as medical intake forms as well because it would allow more room to write instead of having to read the questions, place a finger where the answer goes, and then move the paper out to write answers. I get that it was meant to read a book, but it could easily be so much more! Overall, I'm glad I purchased it. It's a unique design and frees the hands to hold the reading material and read over a larger area, which beats the handheld round magnifier I was using before. I used to become frustrated with the lack of continuity reading things that way. It's been a decade since I was able to read a book, even large print. I look forward to giving that a go next.

Bought this in June...was accidently "lost" when visitors arrived...Recently found it in a box in the basement...Doesn't work for me...5x isn't strong enough for my eyes...and didn't realize the lens wasn't GLASS...it's too distorted...looks like it may have been used (not sure about that)..Love the idea and might have been great with glass. & 10x magnification..Hope I can find someone to use it since now I can't return it...Any suggestions on a really good Magnifier for someone with poor vision would be greatly appreciated :)

Works like advertised. Fairly easy to put together (read the directions). Nice light with three different light settings and within each setting you can adjust the brightness. This will be a welcome addition to our diamond painting. It’s easy to use, a great value for the price, and the magnification is fine. I was a bit worried it wouldn’t be enough, but it is great.

Works very well for reading small print.

I wish this was a good product. I love the concept. The 'glass' is swirly. It isn't a clear magnifying lens. I don't know if it bothers anyone else but I cannot focus on the text because of the swirls making it out of focus. The lights are super helpful. I have extremely low vision. I cannot sit this down and read a book. It doesn't work for reading in your lap. If you try to put a book in the arms it either is too close and you cannot turn the pages or to get it far enough a way that the book isn't fallling on top of you you cannot read the text. Everything advertised is perfect. It just doesn't work. I've been trying to make my one work every week for almost a year. I'm giving up.

Helps me read a book or paper. Works great and the lights are just right, not to bright and choosing one of the three light colors is really helpful.

Thank you, Merci beaucoup

This product is exorbitantly OVER PRICED. The product is ALL light weight plastic and certainly NOT worth the OUTRAGEOUS price of $64.18 AUD I paid for it. To be very clear the product functions as expected but the PRICE should be somewhere near $12-$15 not the inflated list price $64.18 AUD. I expected glass and metal not flimsy plastic!
