I was having a hard time keeping my new carpet clean when we got a new puppy. I know that potty training takes a while but I just couldn't clean up her urine messes just by hand. I also had to buy a Amazing laundry Detergent to get the urine smell out of my towels etc. It's a powder that you add to your laundry and it removes ALL PET URINE SMELLS AND ANY OTHER PET STINKY STUFF. I added one scoop of Active Pet Laundry Detergent Powder to the water mixture and mixed it extremely well. By the time I was done cleaning the spots, I couldn't smell Pet urine anymore. When I use this additive to the carpet cleaner, I make sure I clean the carpet cleaner and flush it out extremely well. The durability is amazing and the appearance of this cleaner is amazing. I don't have to get my large carpet cleaner out to clean small areas anymore.

AMAZING!!! What a great little machine!!! We have on the lighter side carpet in our downstairs we also have 2 big dogs who dirt. I was shocked using this and seeing what a difference it made. I couldn’t believe how much dirt was there even though i vacuum and used a spray carpet cleaner for spots. This was so easy to use. I’ve rented big ones and trying to get it home then figuring out how to use it was literally a nightmare. Not with this especially cleaning it out once it filled took me less than a few minutes to empty, clean it out and refill. I’m so happy with this purchase! Also it’s so light weight even full which is a big help and the cord to plug it in super long well made and you don’t have to keep unplugging and then finding another plug or extension cord!!! If you don’t want to buy a big carpet cleaner i can’t recommend enough this great little machine it’s a great addition to your cleaning arsenal!!

LOVE!!! I bought this mainly because our dog stubbornly pees in the same spot on our white/cream carpet, and I’m impressed. The after photo attached was taken immediately after using it. The stain and odor were completely gone, and the solution smells amazing! The tank size, water capacity, and included 8 oz solution bottle were more than enough to clean our entire 5x8 rug in one go without needing a refill. The attachments are super easy to switch out, and the reservoir is simple to remove and clean. I would say it’s super effective on immediate stains and moderately effective on areas with existing and hard to clean discoloration. Definitely worth it

This works great! I got tired of cleaning up regurgitated cat food with paper towels, and i feel like it never got clean. I was right. I used this thing on a cat throw up spot and did half my rug before my wrist got tired (its not designed for that purpose, I am just insane). Got rid of hot shoe smell immediately. The solution they give it great too- got months-old foundation stains out of my carpet. I love having thisnon hand, already used it a couple times and its easy to whip out when you hear a pet mess actively happening. Its expensive but if you can swing it, its a great investment.

Primarily purchased this to use on the seats in my vehicle and it did a great job!!! Doesn't completely soak the seats and extracts the solution well! Not heavy! Love that it mixes itself and you can choose modes. The spray field is wide, but if you get close to whatever you're cleaning it's easier to control. Great little machine. Very happy with my purchase.

I woke up today thinking I’d have peace, it was a quiet and joyful morning. Instead, my poor 40lb dogs stomach decided otherwise, she ended up having diarrhea ALL over my carpet overnight while I was dead asleep. In true fashion I whipped out my old carpet cleaner, but alas, she was broken (literally fell apart in my hands, thing was old as dirt). So, I went ahead, cleaned up what I could and pretreated the carpet while looking for a new carpet cleaner. In the meantime I found this one the Bissell Little Green Max Pet Smartmix, I was in between a few others and ultimately decided on this. It’s small, on the cheaper end and fits in the only storage area in my little two bedroom apartment. Let me start by saying, if you have a couple of spots/want to spot clean this is PERFECT! Pretreat your areas first let it sit, then add your water and cleaner into their respective places in the jug, plug it in and go. As mentioned before I have dogs, both of which shed like no other. I replaced the bristle attachment for the rubber one to make cleaning easier (especially since it was poop 🤢) and kept it going. The suction power was great, it pulled everything up! One spot in particular looked like a gruesome scene straight out of a horror movie, so of course I started there. It’s as if it never happened. In my 28 years of living I never expected to be this over come with joy by a carpet cleaner. The odor and stains are gone, my carpet dried FAST, and despite it being small it feels pretty durable. I’m not excited for another accident, however, I’m happy to know I have this little tool.

Moved into a place that had multiple cats before me, I have an elderly dog, and my roommate just got a puppy. Needless to say, I bought this for pet accidents in the home. I ended up using it on all of the upholstery in the apartment and it got out stains that must have been years old predating me from the cats. The pet formula deodorizes as described, I feel like it sufficiently sanitizes the rugs. The suction was decent, although it did not remove stubborn cat hair (I went over the cleaner with my vacuum for a more powerful suction). I like that it’s self cleaning on the attachments. My only issue is that I didn’t realize mine was not portable, so it’s limited to how far you can get from the wall before you have to move it around.

A little dissapointed here as I love Bissell products. Unfortunately, this was not a winnder for me, I returned mine after only a few weeks and just a handful of uses. The first problem was leaking around the cleaning solution tank. Then the spray nozzle started leaking too. At that point I was spending almost as much time dealing with the machine as I was actually cleaning. For a quick spill, pet accident, or small spot on the carpet, it works pretty well. Where I think people need to set their expectations is anything larger. I tried using it on a rug and quickly realized this is NOT what I would want for cleaning an entire rug. You’re bent over working a small section at a time and your back is going to know about it afterward. Three stars because the actual cleaning performance on small spots was decent. If mine hadn't developed two separate leaks within a few weeks, I might have kept it but it would still get limited use for me.
