Lids were broken! Hazardous! UPDATE!
***UPDATE:*** Seller reached out to me and completely resolved this issue! No, I was not asked to change my review, however, I firmly believe in acknowledging someone when they reach out in good faith to correct a problem. I thank the seller very much for standing behind their product!VERY disappointed! Several of the lids were broken and pieces of plastic fell out when I opened the wrap. The lids were thin plastic and very brittle and many of them were unusable. Pieces of plastic could easily fall in your food when you try to snap the lid on. I'll have to use plastic wrap to cover the dish. For safety reasons, I cannot recommend!

Awesome for sharing
For the price these are awesome, reusable and dishwasher safe ,I can not make a meal for just me and my hubby,I think it is due to me growing up in a big family so when I try to lessen the portions it never seems like enough,so since I have some elderly neighbors I share with them . Since many elderly people don't really eat properly or want to cook just for themselves I share my cooking with them and these dishes are awesome since they are reusable and dishwasher safe and freezer safe these are working out awesome. After I got these I ran some through the dishwasher to clean them and I made a huge batch of lasagna,so after the lasagna was done I place a slab into about 12 of these containers which were given to my elderly neighbors, and these are the perfect size for them to eat right away, but I also frize some of the lasagna in portion sizes and placed in my elderly neighbors freezer for another day for them . Just when you freeze in them defrost in the fridge over night and since I don't use plastic in the microwave I told my neighbors to place the food on a microwave safe plate or on a small cookie sheet for the toaster oven or oven and reheat . These also work out awesome for a cook out ,for guest to take left overs .

A Necessary Tool for Meal Prep
So, this is what I’ve learned. Wordsmith a new name for a concept that already exists (with a perfectly appropriate name already) and it’s as if the activity is new as well. So, what has set me off? “Meal Prep”. It’s as though before 2024, no one – EVER – had thought of cutting carrots, onions and celery and storing them in the refrigerator to use - as needed - for the week. Or, no one – EVER – thought of making twice as much braised chicken, meatballs or lentils and freezing the extra for future use.Sigh.Up until now, however, packing meal-prep items was more challenging. Everybody recycles Chinese takeout food containers and generic CoolWhip bowls. The corresponding lids end up in purgatory, along with socks from the dryer. While that is probably still a problem, with this set, you can afford to lose a lid or two. Because, you have 50 of them.Use them for baked casseroles (baked ziti, enchiladas, meatball stroganoff). Use them for sliced fresh veggies and fruits. You know that you’re supposed to prep the produce the minute you bring it home. With these containers, you now have the perfect vessel to contain your farmer’s market haul (and they’re stackable – even on their side).I got the 24-ounce containers (50 containers and lids for $25.99). In our family, that holds enough for three servings. One reason why this is so explicitly labelled for meal prep is, these containers are leakproof, freezer, microwave and dishwasher safe. I have the worst luck with my lunch leaking all over the inside of my bag. Hasn’t happened yet. And, that’s part of the appeal of meal prep – you can literally remove the frozen lasagna (from a double batch you made on the weekend) container from the freezer, right to the microwave and then to the dishwasher. The container doesn’t melt in the microwave or discolor/shrink in the dishwasher.Look, I like the idea of Blue Apron as much as anyone. But, dang, are those pricey! Yes, I’d love to be able to just throw a few included items together and have dinner ready in 30 minutes. Now I can. Since dinner’s already done.

Great for meal prep
If using these for meal prep they’re great. Holds a nice serving of rice and a 7 oz breast easy but that about maxes it out. Tight lid and not too thin plastic. Haven’t had any leak and they stack well. Keeps items fresh for a week if needed.

ice size for single servings
They seem very durable for what they are intended to be used for, they have held up well in the microwave and are perfect size for single serving portions. They are very stable when stacked thanks to the impression in the bowls bottom fitting perfectly over the lid of the one below. They are the exact thickness I expected and clean up very easily with a simple wipe with a soapy dish rag and they look very nice when serving the stored portions. They could have been packed better because 3 bowls and 2 lids were cracked when opened but in a package of fifty it wasn't worth the time and trouble of sending back for that, if it weren't for that they would get 5 stars.

Saves time, money, and stores away perfect
50 containers for the price, these are so great because if I lose some or never get them back (because people never give containers back, lol) it's no big deal. I can send my husband off to work with leftovers, store food, prep for later, etc.. I even wash and reuse them. I don't have to look for matching lids because they're all the same and fit each other (both containers and lids). They fit perfectly together so it also saves a lot of room in my cabinet. These are so great and it t saves me so much time and money. Absolutely love these!

Great container, but NOT freezer friendly!
These are great containers for what they are. They stack well in the fridge. I’m only giving them three stars because they say ‘freezer-safe’ but they are not. I meal prepped a bunch of food and froze it for post pregnancy. I only had it in there for a month, and there was ice inside of the container. I made sure to put the food away after it had cooled down, so I know that was not the issue. The food is still edible, but it’s a big disappointment that it doesn’t seal as well as it should have. Also, I should note that one of the lids broke so it’s not as durable as you think. Overall, they are great for meal prepping and left overs, but I wouldn’t advise using this product if you’re freezing for long term.
